Take the trip up north to enjoy 40 acres of peaceful, wooded trails… Just minutes away from the shores of Lake Huron close to remote beaches, historic light houses, and Maritime museums. Scuba dive and explore the pristine shipwrecks 30 miles to the north in thunder Bay, shipwreck capital of Michigan’s coast or take a tour on a glass bottom boat. Lots of other activities. include golfing, amazing fishing on many of the lakes just around every corner. You can bike for miles along the coast on the paved bike only trails. Tube or kayak down the Au Sable river. The property is a wooded area with lots of wildlife to observe deer, squirrels raccoons mice owls ect. Birdwatchers look for eagles they are everywhere and northern whippoorwills can be heard on our property. No hunting. Our place is Pet friendly one dog is permitted and must be kept with you at all times. There’s so much to do. Hike on our trails through the beautiful woods. After a day of riding, swimming, fishing come back to the house and have a bonfire in our large fire pit, (please bring your own firewood and only wood is permitted in the firepit. No trash, glass or cans) observe the stars without light pollution. The sights are absolutely incredible. If you’re lucky you’re even get to see the northern lights. Have a barbecue on the charcoal grill, afterword go inside and sleep in one of the three comfortable bedrooms. Theres free Wi-Fi it’s a rural area usually the Wi-Fi is pretty good but the weather can affect the speed. We have two full bathrooms, cook your favorite meals in a fully equipped kitchen with open concept plan. The living room has two large couches with extra linens available. Should you need more sleeping space..There are three security outdoor cameras on the property two are mounted on the pole barn in front of the house, and one is mounted above the side door… This is for security and monitoring for safety reasons only… all guest must be registered. No parties. We try to have every comfort you could need so you can feel relaxed and refreshed. House is professionally cleaned just before your arrival. Minimum stay three days maximum 28. We lovingly call our home “A diamond in the ruff”.  There is a 3 day minimum stay. Maximum 28 days.
