Guests have private access to the entire first-floor apartment and the covered back deck.
Shared spaces in the home include:
• The fenced backyard (shared with other apartments in the building)

• The basement laundry area, which is accessible to all four apartments in the home via the interior stairwell. The laundry space is convenient for longer stays and well-maintained for guest use.

Off-street parking for 1 vehicle is also available for guest convenience.

This second-floor suite is part of a thoughtfully divided historic home in Trinity Park. The layout reflects the character of an early 1900s residence that has been converted into separate private guest spaces.
Guests have exclusive use of the entire suite, which includes a private bedroom and a flexible adjoining living area. The living room is accessed through the home’s shared interior hallway, a feature of the original home layout that has been preserved rather than rebuilt—adding to the charm and historic feel.

We had trouble getting in--they had given us the wrong access code for the front door, so I had to call. The "coffee maker" is actually an electric kettle and you make your coffee with tea bag coffees. Be aware only stevia is provided, not sugar, so you may need to bring your own sweetener. They do have creamer. No bedding provided for the futon. For positives, the location is wonderful and the neighborhood is beautiful.

We would like to apologize for the inconvenience of the of our lock system. We were in the process of changing lock codes when you visited. We have also made note of the lack of sugar and bedding for the futon, as both should have been made available to you during your visit. We wish you would've reached out to us to let us know these were missing, so that this could've been corrected during your visit. We will speak with our inspection staff to ensure that this doesn't happen to future guests and again apologize for this inconvenience. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it allows us the opportunity make adjustments for future guests. We hope that you will give us the chance to host you, again, on future visits to Durham.
