Welcome to Colonial Beach Escape! Located in the heart of Colonial Beach on the Potomac River, our brand new family-friendly townhome offers tasteful, comfortable furnishings and all the amenities you need for a fun and relaxing getaway. Colonial Beach Escape boasts 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 3 private outdoor spaces, and is steps from the heated community pool (opens April 18, 2025!) and putting green. We are just 3 blocks from the beach and a short walk or golf cart ride to many restaurants, breweries, shops, and playgrounds.

We loved everything about our stay in Colonial Beach. The condo was super clean and we had everything we needed for the beach. Kitchen is well-equipped. Walk to the beach and restaurants is very easy. The kids in our group enjoyed the nearby playgrounds. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing and Relaxing!

This home has it all! It is perfectly decorated, clean, relaxing and an amazing location. Fully stocked with everything you need. My family had the best time! Beach chairs, bike, cooking supplies, comfy sheets, clean home, washer/dryer, pool, garage. Everything! The host was so welcoming and easy to work with and made it feel so special. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Spring Break in Colonial Beach

We spent a few days here over spring break and had the best time. Colonial Beach is beautiful and the kind of peaceful we all needed. The house is literally a two minute walk from beachfront restaurants in a nice new townhome community. The house itself really nice too. They’ve included all kinds of convenience you don’t always see… like coffee filters, plenty of kitchen stuff, and beach gear. They even had some snacks and paper goods set out to greet us when we arrivedThe house was also clean and the beds were VERY comfortable with what seemed to be new memory of mattresses, even the bunk beds. Finally… Caroline, the owner, was extremely accommodating. We had some logistics complications the day we were supposed to arrive and she was extremely helpful. Thanks for a great trip. We would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful retreat from the world

This property was beautiful, extremely well-appointed, and located within a couple of blocks of numerous restaurants, breweries, and attractions such as the lovely Potomac River front. We were impressed especially with the games and activities for the kids and adults, including the littlest one (4yo) who found plenty to entertain him aside from what we'd brought. The pool is shared by the rest of the townhomes, and was pretty nice; the kids appreciated the putting green. We highly recommend this property, from the word go. The hosts were wonderfully responsive, from us adding a night to our stay a couple of weeks prior to questions we had during our stay. Do yourself a favor and escape to Colonial Beach!

Top Notch!

You may be comparing different local properties, as I did. I ended up renting two properties in this same complex for our LARGE group. The durations were different, but comparable prices overall. All I can say is that THIS ONE was miles above and beyond the other, which was fine, but essentially a corporate rental. This rental was flawless from top to bottom. Clean, with everything you could want or need, and top quality too. The owners put so much care into every detail of the stay. There were toys and games for the kids and a thoughtful welcome basket for adults. It's a risk to have such a well-appointed rental property. Guests must walk off with nice items, but these owners have set up the place as if they themselves were going to stay. It feels like you are staying in a good friend's home. By chance I met neighbors on either side and "pre-apologized" for our large group's noise. They glowed about the Harvey family, and after staying in their home, I can feel why. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Other details- ~ My first time to CB, there off-season for a wedding, not for the beach, but the town isn't big, so unless you REALLY care about location, there's no bad location in town. ~ We had many cars. There's 2 parking spots. Other convenient parking is just at the corner where there is a park. ~ husband adds + attention to detail, actually attractive decor/art, felt like home rather than hotel Thanks hosts/new friends!

Jillanne and crew were awesome 5-star guests. They treated our place as if it were their own — everything was left in perfect shape and neat as a pin! All check-out instructions were followed and then some (Jillanne went above and beyond and even washed and folded most of the sheets and towels). So grateful to have hosted this wonderful group - we would love to have them back again!
