Das Hotel liegt etwa eine Stunde südlich von Houston bietet das Bahama Mama das ultimative Refugium für diejenigen, die weg von allem eine spektakuläre Zeit am Strand zu genießen. Das Haus verfügt über einen erweiterten Terrasse mit schöner Aussicht auf das Meer, und das Innere ist sehr schön mit der Familie Urlaub im Hinterkopf eingerichtet. Der Strand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt und bietet unendlich viele Möglichkeiten für Spaß unabhängig von der Jahreszeit. This was definitely a top tier stay! We are already comparing it against our best ever stays and this one is up there for sure. The location is about as good as it gets, just steps to the beach. The view from the deck is spectacular, and the house is spacious. It’s always so nice to have a washer and dryer on the beach, it was really handy. I did notice small things like the toilet paper holder was broken, but nothing that affected the enjoyment of the stay. Overall it was truly excellent and I would 100% stay again.

Beautiful location, beautiful view, plenty of space for our family, but very dirty. We were uncomfortable using spaces and appliances because the home was not clean. Only one bathroom was usable due to a very unclean shower. The kitchen provided plenty of plates, but ran very short on glassware and silverware. The pots and pans were dirty and unusable. The owner was very responsive prior to our stay, but was unreachable when I tried to contact her at the end of our stay to comment on the lack of cleanliness.

Great beach vacation

The property was clean, beautiful and convenient. This was our 3rd stay in Surfside, and the best property so far in terms of space, cleanliness and beach access.

We arrived and unloaded. The first walk in we noticed the floors were dirty. We cleaned the floors and hand washed the dishes to use. Through the stay we noticed a lot of other cleaning issues, but the owner made it right. The beds were comfortable, but one of the extra beds sinks in the middle. There isn’t an ice maker, but there are 3 ice trays. The house is located 2nd row with very easy access to the beach on a dead end road. There is a nice covered deck to enjoy watching the waves and avoid the sun. There is a BBQ pit to grill with a picnic table under the home with ample space to play games. A shower is under as well to shower the sand off of you before going inside. Some of the furniture pictured is different than what is in it now. There is an octagon shaped window in the living room that doesn’t have a curtain on it, but it didn’t bother us. We had a pleasant stay. The weather was nice, the house served its purpose, and the beach water was refreshing. Thank you to the owner for refunding a portion of the cleaning fee. Bring mosquito spray because it’s Texas and there are mosquitoes.

Great stay!

This was a cute beach house with nice views of the beach. King bed was comfortable and even though not used, the full sized bottom bunk was a great idea. Communication with the owners was great and they were very responsive. I would definitely stay again!

Amazing Property.. Highly recommend...

The property was well kept and was a few feet from the beach. The owners were great and helped me with all my questions. My family didn’t want to leave, the view was amazing and we had great neighbors. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Great Vacation Spot

Property was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with plenty of everything we needed for cooking. Loved the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand from the beach. Area was family friendly. House was close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay. Would've liked a TV in the master bedroom.

The house is perfect for a small family get away! It is a little weathered & a bit older but still in good shape! The walk to the beach was mere minutes over the dunes & easy access. The owners were extremely responsive & very courteous! Bring extra towels & kitchen essentials like seasonings & oil. Also have some extra paper goods & trash bags as well as dish soap. Charcoal grill available, which we used a few times. Overall- perfect for us!

Memorial Day weekend at this property

We spent 4 days at this property over the Memorial Day weekend last week. The property was clean and comfortable. Great location to the beach and beach access one street over.
