Welcome to Wedgwood Retreat—a private Seattle home near the University of Washington, Seattle Children’s Hospital, UW Medical Center, and Lake Washington. A comfortable, well-located base for medical visits, university stays, work trips, or leisure travel in Seattle.

Located in Wedgwood, a residential neighborhood in northeast Seattle, this remodeled single-level rambler offers a rare balance of neighborhood living with quick access to major hospitals, UW, downtown Seattle, and surrounding neighborhoods.

The home features hardwood floors throughout, a modern kitchen with quartz counters and a gas range, and bright open living spaces designed for comfort and everyday convenience.

Two bedrooms include a king and queen bed with blackout shades, quality linens, a dedicated workspace, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Full laundry is available on-site.

A standout feature is the large private backyard with a covered gazebo and outdoor dining space—ideal for relaxing after a day in the city and rare to find in Seattle.

Guests have easy access to the Burke-Gilman Trail, the Wedgwood 35th Ave NE corridor with coffee shops and dining, and Roosevelt Light Rail Station for convenient travel across Seattle and to the airport.

Driving access is quick to UW, Seattle Children’s Hospital, UW Medical Center, Capitol Hill, Fremont, Ballard, Green Lake, and downtown Seattle.

We stayed here while visiting our nephew at UW. It was a beautiful neighborhood close to the school and restaurants we all wanted to eat at. Extremely clean, attentive hosts,,comfortable beds. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Seattle Property!

This house was absolutely perfect for our 10 day stay in Seattle. The location was safe and relatively centralized. The property had super comfortable beds and the kitchen was a nice large size if you choose to cook. I highly recommend this property for your Seattle stay!

Nice Property and Friendly Hosts

We enjoyed our stay in this very clean property with nice amenities and thoughtful touches. The rooms were spacious and the house layout was comfortable. The location gave us easy access to the greater Seattle area and the university. There is a main street out front which adds some muted road noise but this did not interrupt our sleep. The hosts were very good about communicating and making sure our stay was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for Us

Our family of 4 was visiting Seattle for a soccer tournament and we had planned to extend our time beyond the team hotel and this house was perfect! One of the better rentals I’ve booked - very clean and updated and every light switch was labeled and actually turned a light off/on which is rare in rentals ha ha. The living room couch was comfortable, the newer full-size washer and dryer were great, and we loved the outdoor space. Also, all of the soap products were Bath & Body Works which was a nice touch! My husband and I also walked to the bar/pizza place on the corner - Fiddler’s - and it was super cute and had live music. Just a charming little house that perfectly suited our family. Would definitely recommend!
