This house is extremely spacious and perfect for friends or families (No party people!!). Enjoy the outdoor with a humongous pool, tanning beds, a tennis court and basketball hoop, lots of seating and dining areas throughout the house and backyard, a BBQ grill, and much more! The indoor is equally as pleasant with high very high ceilings and lots of areas to relax in. Located in a convenient, safe, and pretty neighbourhood, this house will make your Californian journey very enjoyable and fun-filled!

Great getaway home!

The house was absolutely beautiful with all amenities and communication with the owner/ manager was great. Definitely would recommend 10 out of 10

Wow! What a great place to stay.

We stayed at the California dream house and had a great time. The house was very clean, and Melissa was an excellent host. the house accommodated all nine of us plus one infant, has a pickle ball court which we played on, great location to Six flags, restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely stay there again.

Lots of space

We appreciated our stay at Melissa's property. There was lots of good space, inside and out and was right where we needed to be to be near other family. The pool is huge! We were also very thankful that they were able to be flexible with our dates when travel issues arose. The house was a little run down, but overall fit our needs very well.

Thank you Melissa for making it so easy to enjoy our family in your home. We had an amazing 3 days! My husband whispered to me, “we should have rented this place when we got married”. If you ever want to sell the house, let us know… it’s beautiful and we loved it. Thank you ❤️

YOU WOULD THINK A SO-CALLED "DREAM HOUSE" WOULD HAVE A BLOW DRYER AND SOAP

We experienced several inconveniences during our stay. While the property manager was responsive, their solutions to our issues did not fully make up for the lost experience / money. The bbq propane tank was empty. By the time we realized it, we were about to cook dinner for our family. The host said they could replace it in two hours, at which time it was too late to cook for our family. The pool was dirty upon arrival. We were told the pool cleaner was coming that day, but they did not come until 2pm the following day. The biggest issue we had is that the fridge was broken or broke the first day we arrived. We did not know it was broken because the freezer worked and the lights in the fridge were on. We purchased $1,000+ in groceries for the weekend, about $550 of which were perishables. At 7am the second day of our stay we realized the meat was warm in the fridge. We contacted the host and they said they would bring a new fridge, which didn’t arrive until 5pm. The meat was already spoiled as of the morning, but rather than compensate us for the lost food, the host offered a partial refund and said “we could have froze the meat.” The meat was already unsafe to eat, so that was not a solution. We felt that was a truly insensitive and inhospitable response. The pool is a great size but the bottom is completely pocked so your feet get cut up from standing. Worse, however, was the broken glass near the pool which my 2 year old granddaughter stepped on and cut her foot.

Hi Gary, I find your review completely out of proportion compared to what happened. We've been nothing but nice and responsive during your entire stay. The propane was empty, we replaced it within 2 hours but if it was that urgent, you could have gotten one from the gas station down the street. The pool was not dirty, just a few leaves on the surface, which is completely normal, and the pool guy can't change his whole schedule, he has precise days, and even turned out to be a friend of yours so the fact that you write bad things about his work says a lot about you... Nobody has mentioned anything about the bottom of the pool before. I'm sorry it wasn't smooth enough to your taste. As for the fridge, it stopped working in the middle of the night, and was initially working when you arrived there. That is something that is completely out of our control, and it's not easy to replace a whole fridge within hours, yet we managed to bring you another one the same evening, and refunded you $400 for the perishables in your groceries, even though you didn't even send me a receipt. I find your review completely unfair. I sincerely hope you will have better experiences in the future, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend you as a guest to other hosts out there. Have a great day.
