Was perfect for our needs. Were in town for a wedding, so just stayed two nights. Beds were comfy, AC worked great, kitchen was sufficient for our needs. Would stay again.

We had such a nice family vacation at this property! Nobody wanted to leave and go back home. The lake right in the back yard was such a hit for our kids,they swam all day every day. We had everything we needed. Walmart was down the street for quick runs also. 10/10 recommend this place, telling family and friends about it too because they saw pictures and videos and want to visit themselves! We can’t wait to come back and we just left (:

The house was the right size for what we needed this weekend. We loved that it had a dock and you could swim from your backyard. There were some things that could have been improved, but for the price, it was appropriate. I mentioned to the owner that the shower and bathroom sink water pressure was very low, he said he would have it looked at. That was really our only major complaint. If that was fixed, we would definitely choose this house again.

Home was spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Very relaxing being right on the water. Caught lots of fish and turtles. Loved this place alot!

Relaxing Lakeside

I rented the house so that I could get some work done on my property that was on the other side of the lake a few streets over. Which was done but the rental was so relaxing that, who would want to work.

We liked the fact that we had a nice view of the lake and the fact that even though it was hot the trees shaded quite a bit of sun so we could sit out at the picnic table and enjoy the outside.Having a washer and dryer was very handy.On the downside, it didn’t appear that the floors had been cleaned for a while because I found/saw hair and spiderwebs in varying areas, and also saw pieces of food under the edges of some of the furniture. The porch also seemed to need a cleaning. The deck was okay. My main issue with cleanliness was the kitchen. Having a kitchen was important to us so we didn’t have to go out to eat for all of our meals. I found numerous utensils, pans, and dishes with dried food on them which had not been cleaned. Also there were no washcloths in the bathroom, only hand towels and bath towels.

All the comforts of home

We appreciated the attention to detail concerning small things such as chip clips, bottle opener ect.. As well as big thigs, water toys, cozy furniture and a great bed. The leftovers in the fridge took us by surprise, as did the used soap bars in the shower. Cleaner windows on the doors would be more welcoming. Overall ,we felt very comfortable. John was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We plan on returning.

Amazing gem on the lake.

I really don’t want to give this property a review because I don’t want others to find it and book up all the weekends we plan to return for. This place is AMAZING. House was clean, beds are comfortable, AC runs cold and is quiet. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings out on the dock fishing, kayaking in the afternoons around the lake, and dinner on the back deck. So relaxing, so private, so quiet. We loved it!!! Also since the lake is spring fed the water was still refreshing even though it was 100+ degrees out. Already planning our next trip back

The house was roomy, nice, clean, and great temperature control. However, when we pulled up one of the glass shower doors was outside in the drive way. Several bath towels smelled of cigarette smoke. There were only 1.5 toilet paper rolls for 7 people. The board games and deck of cards were incomplete. Most of the doors did not close and latch without extra force. Tiffany, we're disappointed to hear that our home did not meet your expectations. We do not allow smoking in our home, and all towels are washed and replaced upon every guest's checkout, I'm unsure what you felt like you smelled, but I can assure you it was not cigarette smoke. I wish you had messaged us, as we requested in our welcome message to you, when you found an unsatisfactory amount of toilet paper. If it were indeed running low, we would have had more delivered to the home within 30 minutes of your request. As a note, I do see you referenced 7 people staying at the house. We actually don't rent to more than 6 people at a time, and your reservation was for 5. Regarding the board games and cards, we do not take inventory of every game piece, and yes, guests lose things that we don't always catch. Once again, had you communicated with us we would have gladly delivered some new decks of cards and even an additional board game or two if it was affecting your experience in a negative manner. I hope you were still able to enjoy the lake and the peaceful environment of the neighborhood.
