Summary:
Kissing the Clouds- take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relaxing on the wrap around balcony on a day with clouds in the valley will show you why we named this cabin Kissing the Clouds. You can look down onto the clouds instead of having to look up. This cabin has just been completely renovated. Everything you need is available for a wonderful trip including all linens, a regular coffee pot and keurig, and all the little necessities you would find at home.
The Space:
Must ask for a permission before bringing dogs. Rules for dogs: MUST be fully house trained, kenneled when you leave the cabin, can't go onto the beds, can't go onto the couch unless you bring a sheet to cover it during your stay and dogs must be cleaned up after outside. If you are ok with these rules, then please ask for permission to bring them and choose 'pet' when making the reservation. There is a pet fee.
There will be a Pickle Ball court on the property in February.
The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed. The room is small so there is a closet in the hallway to hang clothes and a dresser under the stairs. Upstairs is a loft with a full size bed and two large nightstands with doors and shelves to hold your clothes. The cabin is not big, but it is beautiful and the outside balcony is where you are going to want to spend your time hanging out and eating overlooking the mountains and valley. The pictures you will see of the views are not doctored up, they are actual pictures taken by myself and guests. The kitchen is full size with a fridge, stove/oven, granite counter tops and new cabinets. You have everything you need including a toaster, crock pot, and pots and pans. There is a gazebo and outside chapel on the property also with beautiful views of the mountains. This area can be rented as a wedding venue, but it has to be pre-approved first by Kathryn. There are 8 cabins on the 12 acres, but only 4 on the street that your cabin is on. While you have your own bench swing outside of Gnome Sweet Gnome, there is also a bench swing across from the cabin with a beautiful view of Pigeon Forge and the mountains, a charcoal grill and picnic tables. On the property, behind Tanner Manor Lodge (cabin #1231) there is a trail that leads to a community Firepit (bring your own wood) and there's a hose there to put it out after using it.
There is an EV charger at one of our cabins, The Vieux, that is a short walk away. Be sure to bring your adapters if you have a Tesla, the connector is the J1772. Just let Kathryn know if you are going to need to use it while you are there so she can arrange it with the other guests.
Washer & Dryer on property.
Guest Access:
You will have the entire cabin to yourself.
Other Things to Note:
We have a washer & dryer behind Tanner Manor Lodge (on the same property, on the corner) that will be available for all of our guests who don't have their own washers and dryers in their cabins. Laundry detergent is provided next to it. If there are clothes in the washer or dryer when you come to use it, please contact whoever's name is on the dry erase board. There are bench swings around Tanner Manor Lodge, a grill behind it and oversized chess and checkers on the back porch. Feel free to hang out and play while you are waiting on your laundry to be done.
No ice maker in the cabin.
Bring own firewood for fireplace (available October - March) and firepit. Bring charcoal for grilling.
There are vacation brochures, coupons and guides at the front of Tanner Manor Lodge and brochures about our cabins as a Destination Wedding Venue and for Retreats also located here. Feel free to choose what you need.
