Better than advertised

The pictures of this place look amazing, but i was surprised by how big the whole property was. The backyard is huge, and the guesthouse by itself was the size of a huge one bedroom apartment. This was a great place to stay.

Amazing family reunion

Our family, spread out across the US and Chile, were looking for a place to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday, and we hit upon this beautiful-looking conveniently located property in Austin. It did not disappoint! There were a dozen of us, and we all found comfortable accommodation in this very large, spacious house and the little casita, which offered a private retreat for the guest of honor. The pool is wonderful, attractive and deep with a little waterfall for extra atmosphere. The pool towels are in plentiful supply! We spent a lot of time outdoors at the various tables and in the gazebo. After the heat of this summer the grass was brown, but the trees are spectacular. I made two birthday cakes and several meals in the main kitchen, and if I couldn’t find a utensil I needed there I went to the casita kitchen and found it there. We also had a barbecue. The house is well-stocked with all the necessaries, and when we could not find the hairdryer, Amy was very helpful and responsive. Communications with Amy were excellent, and she went out of her way to make our checkout as smooth and stress-free as possible. My mother-in-law and the whole family were super happy with the venue… we highly recommend this place for any large family gathering especially!

Clean, Spacious, Private, perfect for big or small group.

My experience at the Austin Resort Home was great! I found it on Instagram and messaged the owner - she immediately got back to me and gave me a great rate for my family reunion. The place was HUGE and there were so much space for us to relax and play games. The backyard is extremely private, neighbors are very far away. The backyard was beautiful and the pool was so pretty, it was nice having that all to ourselves. The casita (guest house) detached from the main home was perfect and private, it was truly a full 1 bedroom apartment, full remodeled kitchen, and large living space. It was nice for the kids to sleep in there while we all stayed up late being loud in the main house. We plan on staying here again one day!

I fell in love with the backyard the moment I stepped out there! The resort-style pool instantly put me in vacay-mode. All the space is perfect for hosting large groups. The beautiful Live Oak trees bring privacy & shade. The view of downtown Austin reminds you that creature comforts are VERY close by. Coming from a large family that does TONS of family reunions, weddings, birthday parties, etc. I knew this was the PERFECT property to share with others!
