Beautiful and spacious home with a pool

Cotton Patch is an amazing home with an open concept kitchen/living room. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need. This home has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Two rooms in the main house and three outside. This house comes with a pool and outdoor cabana with a half bath and outdoor shower. There is an outdoor fireplace and a fire ring. It is located in the Tierra Linda subdivision close to the House Pasture and golf course.

This home comes with a parking pass for river access. It is about a 100 yard walk from parking to Seven Bluff Crossing. You can drop your stuff by the river and then go park.

We went for a small family reunion and it was lovely! Everyone enjoyed their time there and the space was incredible. Not to mention, the host was very responsive and sorted out questions in seconds.

Love love love this property. It had the perfect layout and plenty of space for all my family and friends the pool and outside areas were perfect for us we spend most of our time there! Definitely will come back!

Cotton Patch Paradise

We had a great time with family. The home was really clean and trash service daily. The view of the surrounding hills from the pool was very relaxing and peaceful. Master bedroom had a comfortable bed which was an unexpected joy! Would definitely book in the future.

Thanksgiving Away from Home

The property was perfect. It checked all our boxes especially the bedrooms outside the main home. The kitchen was fully stocked as promised. The home was spacious and allowed for multiple areas to gather for our family. We enjoyed our thanksgiving feast in this well kepted home.

Overall, this was a very good rental - as described and clean. Good communication with the property manager. Note that they "DO NOT PROVIDE SHEET OR TOWELS. YOU MAY BRING YOUR OWN OR RENT THEM FOR $10/BED." I don't recall seeing this text when we made our reservation. I was informed of this extra charge only after we paid our deposits. The pool was dirty, the filter and skimmer not running. Two guys came to service and clean the pool on the morning we checked out.

I’m so sorry for the issues with the pool. They are cleaned the day of check in. This time of year is difficult with all the leaves and tree pollen. The pump is set on a timer. We ask that you please always call the office when you see an issue. We will always address it immediately.

A great trip!

Amazing location with lots of space. Loved that each room had it's own bathroom, the pool was perfect, the covered outdoor space was amazing for hanging out in the evenings, and the scenery is peaceful. Located really close to the Frio so it was super easy getting back and forth, and allowed for multiple vehicles to park in front of the house. The property manager was responsive any time I had a question. Make sure to pack towels and sheets - a bit inconvenient considering how much you pay - but you do have the option to rent sheets, odd, but I would rather sleep on my own. The only thing we didn't care for was that the breezeway garage door is 'locked' open all night giving anyone open access to walk through the breezeway (outdoor bedrooms are right there), you cannot shut it - we didn't feel overly confident and parked a vehicle in front of it. Not that someone couldn't walk around the back, but it would have made us all feel a lot more comfortable knowing we could shut that door. Overall we loved our stay!

Trapped due to Frio River Flood

Reviewer Comments: In 2025 we were prevented from staying here due to flooding, and this year we were prevented from leaving due to flooding on the Frio, but what a great place to get trapped. We had to stay for 2 extra days due to the inability to get out. We were high and dry and never in danger. With 2 littles, 5 teenagers, and 8 adults we had a great family vacation with all the room, and the pool. Property management kept us well informed, and even managed to get extra food flown in. We'll definitely be staying here again. Great memories, and sympathies for those who missed out on their vacation due to the flood.
