Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood

This house has everything you need for home base in Redding. The pool was very nice, but it was just too chilly to swim. Lovely garden with beautiful trees too. Definitely recommend as a nice place to stay.

Relocating and needed a place to stay

We are moving from this very neighborhood and were seeking a comfortable place to stay while we packed up our house. This fit the bill! The only suggestion is this: more waste baskets in the bedrooms. Our allergies were acting up! Other than that, we will return to this house should we come back to visit! Thank you!

Great Hub!

This was an awesome house if your are hiking around the Redding, Burney falls, Mt. Shasta area. The fam was even excited to get back home from the hikes to use the pool! Great neighborhood and they allow dogs. We’ll definitely come back here again.

Beautiful home, but disappointed

The house is very nice but it needs landscaping in the side and backyard. It definitely needs new yard furniture. The deck is not safe needs to be refurbished, got a splinter. The pool was ice cold and host was not accommodating in that area. The house needs to add extra supplies such as toilet paper, napkins, paper towels and clean toiletries, not what was left over from previous guest. (Hair on soap). We bought extra toilet paper, paper towels and Kleenex. The barbecue DO NOT USE, needs a steam cleaning. We were very disappointed and will not stay here again.

Relaxing stay after the holidays

We had a great time at this home and it was perfect for our needs. We just wanted a quiet and relaxing getaway after all the holiday festivities and we wanted to be able to drive up to the Mt. Shasta area, which was about an hour away. The home itself was in a calm and quiet neighborhood, it was large and spacious for 5 people and a small dog. It was raining that weekend, so we didn't get to spend as much time in the backyard as we would have liked, but during the summer I'm sure the pool provides a lot of extra fun. If we return to the area, we would definitely consider staying again.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, and clean house

This is one of the cleanest, well maintained properties we’ve stayed. The spaces were accurately depicted in the listing and photos. We loved the common kitchen and dining area that was spacious enough for 6 adults. The host was very communicative. Only downfall was the supplies were lacking. Would recommend providing Lysol or windex to clean the counters after making meals. We couldn’t find any Tupperware or the alternative which would be plastic wrap. We were only provided with exactly one towel per person. No extra pool towels and only one kitchen towel. Besides the lack of supplies I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

This house was fantastic. We had 4 adults and 2 teens and we all had plenty of space, a pool to cool off in, and board games and other activities to keep us busy! The house is very clean and modern, will definitely recommend to others!

Staying cool

The place was wonderful. The house was beautiful. The bed was superb. The pool was great the barbecue needs a battery so you can electric start it, and a few more utensils for the barbecue would be nice did a lot of bbqing why we Were there A barbecue brush and a meat The monitorthermometer.were there.

Great Family Home

Beautiful home, great neighborhood. My husband, son, and I came to celebrate the holidays with our daughter who lives and works in Redding and we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for a long stay with plenty of room. We made good use of the kitchen and prepared a delicious Christmas dinner there. Plenty of grocery stores, shopping, and hiking in the area. As a runner that comes from a mostly flat area it was a lot of fun running up and down the hills in peaceful and safe neighborhoods. It was too cold to use the pool but my daughter says it gets quite hot here during the summer so we may just have to plan a return trip during that time!

Relaxing weekend and visit to Bethel Church

This home was very nice and there were a few pleasant surprises regarding the interior of the home. Ie: a nice formal dining room and formal living room. We enjoyed the pool and the backyard amenities regularly. It was about 15 mins to Bethel Church and great neighborhood. Instructions into the home were easy and one of our parties arrived a little earlier and was welcomed into the house. Great place to stay and we would stay here again!

Met Our Needs

The property met our needs. Was bright and airy. Very pleasant place to stay. We will use it again. Communication with the owner was easy and responses were quick. They obviously have done some recent remodeling work. The house is not cluttered, nor does it have lots of cutesy knickknacks. It's a very pleasant and calm environment. The rules are reasonable.
