Unwind where the forest meets the sea. Perched on a private 1-acre lot bordering a serene pine forest, our 2,100 sq. ft. open-concept home is a haven for meditation and relaxation. From the porch or balcony, let the rhythmic sound of waves and barking seals be your soundtrack as you scan the horizon for migrating whales.
The Space:
Living: An airy, bi-level floor plan. The first floor features a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas—perfect for gathering. Retreat upstairs to the spacious family room for movie nights or quiet reflection.
Work from Paradise: Designed for modern nomads, we feature high-speed Wi-Fi, a standing desk, and an external monitor.
Sleeping: Comfortably sleeps 6 in beds, with space for 2 additional guests on an AeroBed or floor mattress.
Location: Secluded but accessible. 1 minute to Anchor Bay Village; 6 minutes to the shops and galleries of downtown Gualala.
Note: Due to our second-floor balcony and hardwood bi-level layout, our home is best suited for guests aged 10 and older.

Wonderful home for our family and we really enjoyed it. Kitchen was perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner with plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. The beds were so comfortable and it was close to everything.

Nice house, well appointed kitchen. Master bedroom has two full size beds pushed together, rather than a king or queen. Needs a guest book for when the internet is out. (Though maybe we just couldn’t find this.) Host charged us for damages that were there when we arrived.

Thank you for staying with us and for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the home, the kitchen, and the peaceful surroundings. Masterbed has casper split king beds, allowing each person to customize their own side independly. We understand this may not suit everyone and appreciate the feedback. There was an area wide outage and we had no control over It. Thank you as well for the suggestion about a guest book for when the internet is out, that’s a great idea and we will add one. Regarding the damage charge, we always document the condition of the property before and after each stay. If there was any misunderstanding, we’re always happy to review photos and details with guests to ensure everything is handled fairly. We appreciate you staying with us and wish you all the best in your future travels

Amazing host and property

We recently stayed at a charming property near the ocean and had a wonderful experience. The breathtaking view of the ocean from the balcony was truly mesmerizing. The interior was tastefully decorated, and the amenities provided added to the comfort of the stay. it was a fantastic coastal retreat that I would highly recommend.

The Perfect Getaway!

The best rental yet! Beginning with the scenic morning drive from San Francisco to the beautiful ocean living room views in Gualala. As pictured, the house has a lovely front garden and porch...cozy, comfortable and warm with fully equipped modern kitchen in a countryside setting. We really enjoyed the proximity to the oceanside hiking trails. We cant wait to be back!

Ocean Views at Clean, Peaceful Home

Great location with shops, restaurants and hikes nearby. Views of the ocean are spectacular from both the living room and family room on second floor. The spacious house was very clean. Large backyard was great play area for the kids where they played. corn hole and spike ball.

Beautiful property with an amazing view!

We immensely enjoyed our time at this property in the Anchor Bay area. Living spaces both upstairs and downstairs were spacious and very accommodating. The upstairs porch provided a fantastic view of the ocean with a beautiful overhead of the front garden. Each room had very comfortable beds, and the kitchen layout and amenities made our stay much more enjoyable. Kiran was unbelievably kind and helpful during our stay here. I highly suggest this property to anyone looking in this area and very much hope to stay here again in the future!

Magical and serene home

We had the most wonderful and restful stay in this beautifully appointed home. Lovely views, comfortable beds and cozy furnishings made for a special week with our two young daughters. The kitchen is also well stocked with high quality cookware for those who enjoy cooking. My husband is an avid runner who had great runs in the hilly neighborhoods surrounding the house. Its proximity to a variety of national parks and beaches will enable you to do something new each day.

Very clean and great host

First, the owner was great, we had to change our dates because we made a mistake and booked 2 houses for the same days and she understood the issue and help us find another dates that worked for both even if she did not have to. The house is very nice, plenty of space, very well maintained and very clean. Kitchen is perfect and it has anything you need to enjoy cooking and eating at the house. Bathroom are quite nice as well. It is around 4 miles from Gualala abd half a mile away has a large grocery store for anything that you might need. 5 out of 5.

What a hidden gem! So lucky to find this place.

We stayed in this beautiful ocean-view cottage over for my birthday celebration. I absolutely adore this beautiful house. It's up on the hill, and you can see the beautiful blue ocean from the front balcony; this epic view instantly makes you feel like you are on vacation. House was sparkling clean, spacious, and, most importantly, quiet. I especially enjoyed the upstairs balcony. and front garden. I felt calm and grounded energy all over the house. A perfect place for a weekend getaway. I honestly couldn't think of anything else to ask. We will definitely come back for this beautiful hidden gem in Anchor Bay.

Sweet Getaway

We stayed at this marvelous home. It was very peaceful. It had everything you could think of as a home away from home. Every area was thoughtfully planned and decorated. It had great views, plenty of space inside and out, for a small child to explore. It is very near the Gualala community and has such a secluded, yet connected location. Waking up and sitting on the porch was everything and more! It was so serene. We heard some woodpeckers, saw deer, kayakers from a distance. It’s a home with plenty of options! We played with the board games provided, used the office area to work on a laptop for a quick moment. The smart TV came in handy! WiFi connection was great! There are plenty of local regional parks to walk, and visit the beach. Just Gorgeous! And I was able to cook some breakfast using the awesome kitchen with the small appliances like toaster oven, stovetop, blender, microwave, supplied with all cooking needs. Restaurants are semi limited compared to a city, but there are a few local spots, and grocery stores. We had pizza, Mexican and Thai! My family and I spent such a great time at Kirin’s place, I shared it with my friends, coworkers and family. Gualala and this home is a hidden gem. I highly recommend staying here. I would definitely stay here again, as the motto says: “Gualala, it’s worth the drive!”Just lovely!

Absolutely Delightful - We’ll Be Back!

It’s hard to know where to start, because our entire stay was completely lovely. We really didn’t want to leave and know we’ll be back again soon. This house is beyond charming and the location is idyllic. There’s a gorgeous garden that greets you as you pull up to the house. The house has two porches with seating that provide a peaceful respite as you view and listen to the ocean (yes, you can hear the ocean!) and sip your morning coffee - a great place to start and end your day! Around the side and back of the house you are surrounded by beautiful pine trees, there’s not a bad view in the house. My family and I enjoyed our stay so much. We loved the proximity of the house to Cooks Beach (a must-visit) and getting into town was just a short drive which was perfect for us for grocery shopping or grabbing breakfast with a view at Trinks. We traveled with our 13-month-old and worked remotely part of the week which was super easy because each room offered a desk space for working and the internet was reliable. Our little one loved taking walks throughout the garden to boot! The house was sparkling clean, the beds were very comfortable and the hospitality was stellar. Everything was stocked with what we needed and more. Kiran made the check-in/out process seamless and was communicative throughout the booking. 10/10 we would recommend staying here. You won’t regret booking, this ranks at one of our all time favorite stays and we feel so lucky to have found it!
