Our family had a great time in Southampton! House is in a great location - close to beaches and town. Barbecue and Fully equipped kitchen was helpful as we did a lot of cooking. Pool and grounds offered lots of entertainment.

Wedding Weekend

We really enjoyed our time at this spacious house in Shinnecock Hills. Three bedrooms upstairs, and three down, so the baby downstairs did not disturb the groom upstairs on the night before his wedding. We loved the pool and the big deck. The huge sectional was a great place to hang out the day after the wedding. This is a great house for a family. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had.

The stay was fine. It could have been cleaner and beware of ticks.

I’ve stayed in many vacation homes and never has a rental moved me in such a way to write a review such as this one. The house accommodated our needs when it came to space and privacy. It was a mix of family and family friends. It was spacious enough which to allowed us to not feel like we were on top of each other and move about freely. The heated pool was nice as well as the fenced in yard. I want to flag two concerns guests should be aware of. (1) the property is infested with ticks; and (2) the cleanliness of the property. When we finally got home after our stay we started noticing ticks on us. These are small insects the size of a sesame seed that leaches onto your skin. We sent them to lab to check for Lyme disease. We are very concerned that either the owner does not treat the yard and or they found themselves inside of the house which is even more concerning. When it came to cleanliness, the house did not meet our standards or expectations and we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival, we noticed trash was sprawled out along the front and side driveway. It appeared that a rodent had got into the outside trash barrel and remnants of its content was sprawled out along the front and side driveway. It was apparent that it had been there for a few days. Whomever stayed in the middle bedroom on the lower level had vomited in several places on the wall to wall carpet. You could smell it as soon as you entered the room. There were large chunks of gastric content and it’s juices on the floor next to the bed, underneath the nightstand, underneath the bed and along the wooden bed frame where the clean sheets were nicely tucked in. It was quite obvious and extremely nauseating. I notified Scott and sent pictures which was before we realized the extend of situation. He sent the cleaners which took them a very long time to get to the house; so much so that my family member had already started cleaning it up. When the cleaning lady finally arrived empty handed along with her daughter, most of it had already been clean by my cousin. The cleaning lady said that she did not see any vomit on the rug when she originally vacuumed the room or when she made the bed. And the women working with her had not told her anything. She also said that she personally vacuumed the floor and made the bed though admitted that she doesn’t move anything and simply vacuums around the furniture which was obvious from the the dirtiness of the house.

Great Place

While the property is a bit off the beaten path, it is quiet and still very close to town. the house was very clean and we had everything we would need for a pleasant stay. The back yard was large and clean with a great pool. Scott was very responsive to minor questions that we had when we arrived. Overall, great place and would rent again.

Great place to stay

My friends and I did a 40th birthday trip in the Hamptons and rented Scott's home for the weekend. The house was clean and tidy, and it was exactly as described and seen in the pictures. Scott was very helpful and accommodating as well with good communication. I would stay here again. Thanks Scott!

Amazing getaway tucked away in Southampton

This property's location is great -- the house is tucked away down a quiet road surrounded by that lush greenery that makes the Hamptons so relaxing, but just a few minutes from the beach and downtown Southampton. The property itself is also great -- The bedrooms are dispersed on 2 separate floors, and each floor has a large common space. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated, and many have desks. The back porch gets great direct sunlight, and the open kitchen/living room concept makes the home an excellent place to bring together a group for a chill and relaxing weekend of bonding. Scott is an excellent communicator and made the check in process simple, and was available for any questions that popped up during our stay. Would definitely book this property again, and strongly recommend it!

Memorable Experience in the Hamptons

Thank you Scott for hosting your amazing home. Our family had a very special experience at this property which is situated in a peaceful location in Southampton but close to all amenities, downtown and beaches. We are actually about to check out and sad to leave. Especially for the kids who loved the daily swim in the pool, picking raspberries, going to the beach, burning energy at the beautiful playgrounds, downtown strolls and side adventure to Montauk. There are already talks about next year to come again!

Great time!

We loved the house but thought the pool was going to be open since it noted in the description it was heated (our group arrived last week of September). Scott was very responsiveness and helpful in addressing this miscommunication ASAP! If you are going off season, definitely ask if the pool will be open is a big draw - I made the mistake of assuming! We had an amazing time regardless!! House and host were both great.

Great for a family getaway!

We booked this house to celebrate my father's 70th and we had a great time. The house was perfect for our group of people, ranging from 4 months to 70 years old. The open concept lent itself well to when we were all hanging out, playing games, cooking dinner, or just taking a break from the Summer sun. The backyard was great for the kids....they loved the pool and there was plenty of room to the side to toss a frisbee or play catch. The house was situated on a very quiet dead-end street, which was nice, yet it was close enough to all of Southampton's attractions...Cooper's Beach and Main Street were both only about 10-15 min away. The house was clean upon arrival. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils you'd need to cook a large meal. The garage had some fishing poles and tons of beach necessities, such as chairs, coolers, buckets, shovels and toys - this came in handy when we realized we forgot to pack our own! We did encounter one issue with wasps on the back deck, but luckily there was some wasp spray on hand, plus Scott the owner - who was very easy to communicate with - sent an exterminator to the house to ensure that the problem was taken care of...no harm, no foul. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely come back. Thank you!

Great spot :)

Over the past five years, we have rented different houses in the Hamptons for family vacations during the summer. This was our favorite spot by far! The house is great - open layout, updated decor, comfortable bedrooms, lovely bathrooms, stocked kitchen, large deck, beautiful pool. It was perfect for our group of 12 - 7 adults and 5 kids. The owner, Scott, was very attentive and responsive. My children and nieces and nephew were begging to stay longer. We would definitely go back!!

Easy and Relaxing

We had a relaxing time here as the property was spacious and very well kept. The home is in great shape with a large, well equipped kitchen and dining area that are easy to gather around. All the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The grounds gave the kids a lot of rooms to run around on and the pool was large and clean! Scott was communicative and responded quickly. Perfect Southampton Getaway

Had a great birthday weekend here with a group of my friends. More than enough room for each person to be comfortable. Scott was a great host - very responsive and accommodating. Pool was great - great sound system inside (bring a dongle for the aux chord if trying to connect to a newer iPhone). Nice open concept space on the main floor great deck and backyard - basement was nice for those who wanted to end their night on the earlier side. Would absolutely book again for another weekend trip to the Hamptons.
