220 secluded acres adjacent to the 36,000 acre Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, with no neighbors, no traffic, and no noise. This waterfront one bedroom tiny cabin has one queen bed and a queen sofa sleeper. Outside is a fire pit and screened porch. Canoes and kayaks are included in booking. Pontoon boat and golf cart are available for rent during your stay. For your safety, there are security cameras on the exterior of the cabin.

We are a working farm and there may be farming activities going on during your stay. You can ask to help feed the deer during your stay.

The secluded cozy cabin presents a modern version of a rustic camping experience. Nestled beside a picturesque inlet, the cabin offers multiple outdoor seating areas as well as a screened-in porch complete with rocking chairs. My wife, our two dogs, and I enjoyed walking the many well kept trails, relaxing on the pier, and warming up beside the fire pit. We look forward to returning in the future and meeting the gracious hosts.

If you want to get away from the hustle of life, this is the place . The description doesn’t do it justice on the peace you will find here. Some great trails to hike or golf cart . Our stay at the tiny cabin was SPECTACULAR! Bill & Karen have curated a 10/10 experience where you are able to fully unplug from the noise of the world. The canoes and kayaks are such a great bonus! We live on this beautiful secluded property year round. We moved back to the farm in 2018 after raising our four kids in Abita Springs. We are both retired and live in the Lake House on our 10 acre lake with our two dogs, Charlie and Mia, two cats, Wibby and Archie, our 4 chickens and twenty white tailed deer.

Our 220 acre paradise adjoins the 36,000+ acre Bogue Chitto Wildlife Refuge and fronts on the Pearl River Navigational Canal. The nearest neighbor is a mile away as the crow flies. We are located at the end of Magee Mahner Road in Pearl River, LA. From mid May to July we have ripe blueberries ready for picking and the deer start having their baby fawns at the same time. We have miles of trails to enjoy for walking, hiking, or birding, along with fishing and hunting on the property during the state seasons. We have an 8 person pontoon fishing boat as well as a golf cart for rental to enhance your use of the property. Swimming and/or a picnic at the beach is always a great activity. Sunrise at the Point is another enjoyable event.
