You'll be able to sit on the porch and enjoy your own private and peaceful slice of the mountains with this vacation rental! You'll be right within walking distance of Highlands Outpost. where you can ride the Scaly Mountain Screamer coaster and go snow tubing down the snowy hills. Treat the family to some gem mining, as well as some classic trout fishing at the nearby pond. Right across the street, enjoy an entertainment park with a mountain roller coaster, ice skating, and tubing.

Return back to your lovely home away from home after a day exploring the town and bask in the calming atmosphere as you kick your feet up in the quaint living area. Cook up a delectable meal in the kitchenette using the appliances provided, then gather around the humble dining room table and feast with your friends. You'll have an appreciable amount of room out on the porch and a grand view of the mountains in the distance and the nature all around you. End the night with some laughter and fun around the table with some board games, then hop into some pajamas and get a good night's rest.

It will do in a pinch

Not great. Heat was spotty, bathrooms were not great, steps were very steep, just not good. Everything in Highlands was booked for the weekend so this is what we were stuck with, and I definitely wouldn't stay here again On a positive note, I guess, it was cheap, and pretty clean.

There was never hot water for any length of time. If it did get warm, it was a trickle

The front porch advertised on vrbo was not the 2 nasty fold up seats that were actually on the porch. The oven would not come on at all. My Thankfinner was ruined. Heat was splotchy. Advertised DVD player but there was not one on property. The clothes dryer made VERY LOUD noises. I left my daily medication bag in the house & was not able to get anyone to agree to go back to get it & give to my brother-in-law. We will never rent this house again.

I would not recommend this cabin to anyone. After entering front door with keypad, found the back door with dead bolt and keyed doorknob were both unlocked. Some gummy bears were stuck to floor and the stairway to the upstairs was dirty. The upstairs toilet doesn't flush properly. The gas stove burners don't work correctly. The igniter knob fires the wrong burner. There are no mirrors in the bathrooms. There was not a sufficient number of bath towels but discovered on the last day of stay they were in the dryer. The water pressure fluctuates. Most annoying of all the shower head does not hang far enough over tub. You have stand on top of the drain and over the faucets to stay under the water. Then when the pressure drops the water drops against the shower curtain and you have to stand in the cold until the pressure builds to get water again. When Vacasa, the property manager, was contacted about where to put garbage outside, never got a response.

Don’t stay here

Place was not clean when we arrived on Friday at 8 pm. Had to stay up until midnight washing all linens and make our beds, trash still there and found a pair of men’s underwear beside the unmade bed. Found a fingernail in the living room Floor along with other dirt from previous guest. No one came to bring new lines and towels until Sunday afternoon and we were leaving on Monday. Toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and spider webs in rooms. Random single mattress just standing in one of the bedrooms and single bed almost fell apart. Will not be using them again or staying at this property.
