Oh goodness where to start! I didn’t receive the information from big Fish rentals(BFR) to be able to access our room until we had already arrived. They claimed they sent it, but I never received it. So I was able to reach out to BFR via text message and get them to send it to a different email address. So when we got that situated, we entered our room to both AC units clogged with dusty filters. Resulting in the air not blowing out cold. I cleaned them both which fixed that. There was mold on the ceiling right above the bed. Then the worst thing was there were cockroaches in the cabinets and drawers. Had I been made aware of I would’ve never reserved this resort. BFR knew about this problem as there was spray and traps underneath the sink. We reached out to BFR and they said that they would get back to us They just had to speak with HOA about sending out a pest control unit. We then asked them if we could move to one of their 600 properties. BFR ignored both requests, never responded. This destroyed our much anticipated vacation. September 6, my cc was charged 150 for the 2nd time. I contacted BFR in regards to this, was told that it was a re-authorization it would be automatically released in five days. It is 9/16 that was 9/6, it became a posted transaction on 9/8. I’ve contacted BFR a few times with no response! Never had an issue reserving through VRBO in 15yrs. Reserving this resort on the VRBO website with host Julie on behalf of BFR was the worst decision EVER!!!
