Great place, great stay!

Fantastic property, beautiful interior, great communication from owners and good location. The only con for this place were the mosquitos in the evening because of all the recent rain. Would still highly recommend...just bring mosquito repellant!

Family trip to the beach!

We had a great time staying at this beautiful beach house. Everyone was comfortable. Hope to be back soon. The host was awsome.

Great beach home

The home was very nice and peaceful in a great neighborhood. The drive up beach was a few minutes away. The only downside was to get into Galveston where all the restaurants and businesses are is a good 25 minute drive. If you don't mind the drive then this is the place for you to spend a vacation..

Delightful costal cottage

We have stayed in the Point San Luis community for several years now, and this house was fantastic. The owners communicated well with small issues that we had or questions. The house had great amenities. We used the charcoal BBQ and the owners were so nice about cleanup (the cleaning crew covered it)! 2 styles if coffee makers came in handy with 4 coffee drinkers. Our only requests would be shades for the main room and bunk room (especially to help kids sleep in) but also for privacy at night. It wasn't a big drawback, just a personal thing. The driveway and under the house was a perfect play area for the kids. A great big picnic table and 2 swings were good for the adults. Overall, we are happy to have found this home and hope to return to it next summer.

2nd stay at this beach house

We love the PSL community and have been renting there since 2019 (and previously rented at Pointe West several years). The pool is convenient, paths to and from both sides of the neighborhood is easy to use and boardwalk to beach is well maintained. This beach house has wonderful placement near the pool and tunnel to the beach side. We come to beach and nothing else, so we like being far away from the town of Galveston. We bring all of our food for our stay. This home had most of our necessary accommodations (more kid friendly plates, food storage containers and microwave friendly bowls would have been appreciated). We typically bring extra supplies (paper towels, TP, trashbags, salt/pepper, dish and clothes detergent etc) and glad we did, the house had some items but not for our week plus stay. The house was clean, but the couches could use their upholstery cleaned or use washable covers. My 3 kids enjoyed having a TV to watch their shows. We also love that they installed blinds in the house since our stay last year. It was nice to not be on display at night to anyone walking around outside. The back porch is lovely in the morning and evening sunsets on the front. The swings under the house are a great way to relax after a day at the beach. Plenty of washing areas to clean off the sand. Hopefully we can rent it again in the future!

Hi guys!! Thanks for the lovely review. We thought we did leave extra supplies since you all were staying an extended stay as we usually leave enough for every day. But we love recommendations. We will take note of child proof plates and storage containers. We do plan to clean the sofas but due to high demand this year, we did not have time to do so. We will use the off season to complete some deep cleaning! Please let us know if you all to choose to book again for next year as we will offer discounts to returning guest!
