This Beautiful Lake House is the perfect getaway for the whole family. Outside features the Hot Tub, Patio, Fire Pit, and Covered Dock overlooking the 7 acre lake. Enjoy the peace and quiet of a small lake that doesn’t allow motor boats. Within a 1/4 mile from Valle Vista Conference Center. We’re located in the heart of Old Greenwood but just a few minutes from Indianapolis. Everything is close by including Food, Shopping, and Entertainment. Downtown Indianapolis is just 15 minutes away.
The space
Come stay in our Cozy Lake House, 1200 square feet of your own private space. You have access to a fully stocked kitchen. Each bedroom has a comfy queen size bed with extra pillows and blankets, closet and dresser. A full bathroom w shower that is stocked w shampoo, conditioner, body wash and plenty of towels and rags. A convenient half bath off the main bedroom. Enjoy family time in the open living room lounging on the reclining sofa. Play games on the large dining table that seats 6. Fish and play in the lake during the day and enjoy s’mores at the fire pit in the evening in the fenced backyard.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire house, carport, back yard, and dock all to yourselves.
Other things to note
We don’t allow any smoking in the house or near the doors. If needed we encourage using the fire pit.

My sisters and I had an absolute BLAST at this property! From the street you would never guess that you are actually pulling into a little slice of paradise- between the paddle boating, hot tub, patio, hammock, fire pit, so many wonderful things to enjoy! Best stay ever!

The place was absolutely wonderful, from the lake with the geese, to the fire pit and hot tub! Very clean! I personally fell inlove with the bathroom, with the shower and the blue light above. Indiana is a place that my siblings and I come to often, and we for sure would love to book this place again!

This is my 2nd stay at this beautiful home & i have to say the memories will last a lifetime! The host is very hands on & proactive with any & all needs —he definitely went above & beyond to make our family as comfortable as possible throughout our stay! The cleanliness of the home is too notch- the backyard is paradise & definitely worth staying an extra night! We’ll be back! (And for anyone thinking about fishing— don’t walk away from your pole or your kid will reel in the biggest catch of the day on your line!! )

Cute little house snuggled away from busy street. The fenced in back yard and pergola at the lake makes you feel secluded, but with the convenience of being near the city. Had every thing that we needed to make our family vacation perfect.

This is an older home with a nice reno. Located in Greenwood it’s close to everything we wanted to visit, however it is on a very busy street so there is a bit of road noise. It was too cold to jump in the lake, but we did put our feet in the new hot tub

Wonderful home-away-from-home!

Truly a home with everything. A fabulous property with all the amenities you love. Very nicely set up property from the kitchen, laundry, bath and a half, three lovely bedrooms, a comfortable and spacious open living room area. Our host, Chad, was an excellent communicator, and the vacation rental met all of our needs. Enjoy nearby restaurants and services, easy expressway access, and best of all relax in the peaceful, private backyard. Even the ducks are friendly. We would definitely recommend the Greenwood house to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience in the Indy 'burbs. Thank you for a delightful weekend!

The home was welcoming from the moment we walked in. While not luxurious, the house was thoughtful, clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. Lots of towels and bedding. Would highly recommend and we had a great time. Host definitely is professional and we had no issues whatsoever. A few notes for future renter. - They have a great BBQ that is charcoal, first time I used one, takes a bit to get going but is great to cook on - Check out the paddle boat and make a little trip on the small lake - The dock is a great place to relax - 3 large TVs - Beds are comfy - Nice firepit, came with a few logs stacked but you’ll want to buy a bag if you want to have a fire - Lots of room for parking

Clean property with fantastic backyard

This property was great. Very clean. Plenty of room for 5 grown men. Plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. The back yard is amazing with the gazebo overlooking the lake. We sat out there for hours enjoying good conversation and pizza. Note, the house is on a busy street, but we hardly heard the traffic at all. The only issue is that the driveway is a single car driveway and we had a 4 door truck with an 8' bed and it was nearly impossible to get in and out of the driveway without going in the grass or crossing over into the other lane. A couple of issues for everyone to be aware of. First, one of the bed's is really uncomfortable. There is literally no structure to the mattress. The other two beds were super comfortable. Two, there is only one shower. The listing said 2 bathrooms, but one of those bathrooms is only a half bath. We managed with 5 men, but if you had 3 couples (6 people) staying in this house it would be really hard with only one shower. Everything else was great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Chris, I am so glad you enjoyed the place and we appreciate your 5 Star review. The Driveway is a little tight for that massive of a truck. I have a 4 door Ford F-150 and it works fine with it. We are planning on extending the Driveway in late fall. It is a 2 bathroom house but VRBO doesn't have an exception for a half bath that is in the master Bedroom. The Mattresses were all purchased at the same time and are all exactly the same make and model so I don't know how one could be different but it may be a support on the bed frame that's broke. We will check it out and get it fixed. Thanks for staying with us and we are Glad you Loved the place
