Great family gathering spot with plenty of room for everyone. Most of the time it was only used as a romantic getaway with gas fireplace, sea breezes, a full moon and views of Great Pond. I highly recommend the owners and house.

My family loves this home! You can't beat the location or its Cape Cod charm. Dan and Renee are excellent hosts with great communication. There are plenty of beds for the family, and a large outdoor space, which can be rare for this area. We have stayed at this home several times and have always enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cape house in a lovely area close to everything you need. Only disappointment was not being able to use the firepit due to neighbor complaints. It is a beautiful backyard would have enjoyed a fire on the chilly nights. Enjoyed our amazing weather for the week, truly a great cape house!

This was our 5th year spending the week at this house. As always, it felt like home away from home. The weather was perfect the entire week which reminded us how happy we were to be staying at a house walking distance to the beaches. We opted to leave behind our beach chairs for more space in the car and utilized a couple of the beach chairs at the house. Definitely recommend this if you are tight for space. We are all booked up for next year and already looking forward to it!

Great summer cottage!

Great place to stay for the week--clean, plenty of beds, everything you need to cook, washer/dryer, comfortable, and a ~10 min walk to a public beach. Guests were me, my husband, our two-year-old and my mom.

Great Location

My family has stayed at this home several times, and we will keep coming back! The location is great- easy walk to the beach and a short drive to shops and restaurants. The house has the feel of a cozy cottage although with plenty of sleeping options and a huge private yard, which is rare for the Cape. Hosts Dan and Renee are wonderful as well.

Great summer beach cottage

Beautiful home walking distance to the beach and a beautiful walkway in the Falmouth Heights. Dan and Renee are very accommodating and responsive. Beautifully maintained, spacious backyard with swing set, picnic table and outdoor shower.

Great for Little Ones!

The fenced-in yard was super for the young grandchildren, and they had their first outdoor showers! The house had everything we needed, and we liked the Sandy beach area at the end of the street at low tide. Clean and nicely decorated.

Lovely cottage with great location

This was my fourth stay at this cozy cottage within walking distance of 2 ponds and the ocean. Not far from downtown Falmouth. The owners couldnt be nicer and were always available if needed. Very clean, well kept with large back yard. Very happy place.

Lovely cottage for a family vacation

Really cute cottage with plenty of bed options and very well equipped. The fenced garden was fantastic and our 3 year old grandson loved the swing set and slide. It was also a peaceful neighbourhood. Excellent communication with the owners. I’d definitely stay again.

This was such a charming beach cottage! Plenty of room for our family of 5. Our two year old loved the backyard! Plenty of space to run around and play. Very quiet neighborhood. Air conditioning was perfect! The outdoor shower had hot and cold water! The furniture and the beds were very comfortable! Everything was very clean. Danny and Renée were very kind and accommodating. The house was definitely well thought out and comfortable. The WiFi was perfect all week long. It was such a relaxing week, we didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait until next year!

Lovely Falmouth Home

We have stayed at several Falmouth homes over the years. 30 Brockton St. is by far the best. Very clean and all the extras you could ever need. Will definitely book again for next year. The owners were super responsive regarding a couple of minor questions.

Lovely home in superb location!

This is our second stay at the house because we just love it. It is charmingly decorated with all the comforts of home. We love that we can walk our kayaks down to the bay just a few houses away and can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes. The walking path along the bay is gorgeous. Convenient location to all of Falmouth, Woods Hole, and Mashpee. Special thanks to the owners for notifying us of the showing of Jaws on the lawn of the Oceanographic Institute!

Our second year and we love it

This was our second year at Danny & Renee’s house. We love it here! It’s so perfect for our two small kids. The house is easy to clean up quickly at the end of your stay. Beds are comfy. Having the washer and dryer is essential! The swing set in the backyard is new and we spent so much time out there. And the easy walk to the small inlet beach is our favorite part. We can’t wait for next year!

I agree with the other reviewer. We found this property to be excellent. The owners were very responsive, accommodating and helpful with any questions we had about the property and the area. The house was very comfortable and having two full baths plus the outdoor shower was a great convenience. The back yard was very large and private; the residential location was ideal proximity to the local beaches, accessing the conveniences of the Falmouth Center in just a few minutes drive, and biking/running. We would definitely rent this cottage again.

Fourth stay and looking forward to year five

This was the fourth year our family of three enjoyed this great property. Our now five year old is a big fan of the outdoor shower and looked forward to singing and dancing during her after beach showers! We walked to the beach everyday. It took us less than ten minutes to pull a wagon full of a kid and all the beach essentials to a great public beach. We walked to dinner at Shipwrecked one night which took about 15min. A walk to Black Dog for breakfast took about 20 min. I’m a runner and look forward to the running views here each year. This house quickly feels like home once we arrive and it’s always bittersweet to leave.

This is a five star house, but you need to know what you're getting to make sure it fits your family's needs. The location is amazing -- water to the left, right, and straight ahead. The yard is perfect for both kids and adults. Communication with Dan was great. The house itself is clean, and the kitchen has just about any cooking/eating implement you might need, plus a decent amount of counter space. The outdoor shower is wonderful.As for bedrooms, the listing was somewhat confusing because it didn't show all of the bedrooms. It's important to know that the master suite (with queen bed and en suite bathroom) is upstairs, and the stairs are narrow and difficult to manage if you have any mobility issues. My parents are in their late 70s and found the stairs quite challenging. Once you're up there, however, the room is nice and there's also a nice sitting room and outdoor porch.There are three bedrooms on the first floor: one with a single twin bed (this room has a sliding door out to the yard), one with twin bunk beds (this is also where the washer and dryer are), and one with a full size bed. The twin beds were fine for my kids, but unfortunately the full mattress, where my partner and I slept, was not particularly comfortable for two people, and I opted for the futon in the living room after the second night.

Another wonderful stay

Third time staying at this lovely home and definitely will be back again. The hosts couldn't be nicer. Location is ideal within walking distance of the ocean, two ponds and downtown Falmouth. It's like my second home.
