We decided to take the family to Flagstaff for Christmas this year and it was wonderful. I've got nothing but good things to say about this property but there are a few details in particular that were key for us. Mass (the host) was extremely communicative and simply just a nice person. The house itself was quite nice and very comfortable which includes the mattress in the master bedroom. The kitchen had everything that we needed, all of the normal things expected but also a selection of drink glasses so we were able to have some proper Christmas martinis! The garage door was tall enough to squeeze our large SUV with a cargo box on top inside which was a first for us. The jacuzzi was great, both the cover and controls were extremely simple. The backyard is fully fenced so we could let our dog outside and not have to worry about anything. The neighborhood itself is quite nice and very new and on the north edge of town, being Flag and a Dark Sky city we were able to go outside in both the front and back and see a sea of stars. There is some railroad track across the valley from us that is curved around the mountain forcing trains to go slow and the sound lulled us to sleep. There were dimmers on nearly all of the main light sources so the ambience could always be intentional. The gas fireplace kicks on and off with a standard light switch so some added ambience and warmth went a long way. Grocery store and a few restaurants right around the corner.
