We often see deer, turkey, birds, bald eagles, ducks, geese and bobcat! A creek bed runs through the property with natural springs and lots of woods for hiking. Our stocked pond (bass, bluegill, catfish) is yours for catch and release fishing from the dock. Kayak also onsite. Enjoy homecooked meals made in our fully equipped kitchen, or travel 15 minutes to a nearby local restaurant. Plenty of room for boat/trailer parking- Rough River Lake boat launch at Axtel is only 10 minutes away! End the day around a fire in the fire pit with provided starter wood and chairs to enjoy the sounds of nature at night and a clear view of the beautiful stars above a dark country sky.
