The pictures of the property were beautiful but did not accurately reflect the conditions of the property during our stay in February 2024. The house appeared clean but areas around and under furniture were dirty and included belongings from previous visitors. The furniture was flimsy and broken in places, such as the living room couch and some bedroom furniture. The back yard is completely torn up and there was no 'safety fence' as advertised. The home is in a good location and clearly underwent a thoughtful renovation before being converted to a short-term rental. Most troubling, there were two foreclosure notices posted on the door on two separate days during our stay. When contacted, the manager/owner stated they were unaware of the problem and were sure it was a mistake. However, the posting of such notices are not the first steps in a foreclosure but rather represent repeated unsuccessful attempts to get a mortgagee to pay their loan payments. The manager/owner simply suggested we put them in a drawer and ignore them. So, unless something significant changes, please beware before booking this property.
