Great Location but...
This is a large house in a good location for wedding venues in the area. We were 4 adults attending a family wedding. We quickly discovered that the kitchen, although clean on the outside, was severely lacking in things typically found in a rental kitchen. And what was there was generally old and obviously not wanted by someone else. At bedtime we discovered that the master bedroom bed did not have sheets on it. When we pulled back the bedspread, we were shocked to see a dirty mattress cover. My husband went to another bedroom to get bedding from there and when we removed the mattress cover to replace it, we were shocked to see an old, severely stained mattress. We nearly left to find a hotel, but being late we were too tired to pack up. Both bedrooms that we used were using mismatched sheets and had old, stained pillows. There were not enough towels in the kitchen and just enough for 2 people in the bathroom. The furniture in the living room was broken (leg of the couch was laying on top of cushion) and none of the televisions in the house worked. Even though the ad said garage parking was available, the garage was full of stuff and no room for a car. I could share more, but I think I've said enough. This could be a really great house if the owner put a little money into better products that renters expect. I've rented many beach houses in my life and this was my worst experience. Full disclosure - the owner did reimburse us some of the payment.
