This is a rare find near Ann Arbor. Our beautifully renovated home with a mid-century modern flare, boasts 5 bedrooms plus a bunk room/rec room and a sleeping loft. All totaled, this 4,400 sq ft home can sleep 15! For the outdoor adventurous, there is a crackling fire pit and large pond. There is even additional group space in the attached/detached garages. This home is perfect for your game weekend, a family retreat, or any type of large gathering - get ready to make some amazing memories!

The newly renovated space is vibrant and allows for great memories to be made. Gather around the huge kitchen island or nestle into the cozy couches in the living room. The patios are tranquil with amazing sunset views! We personally renovated this home, so come relax and enjoy.

The main floor has 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths (there are 2 steps on this level) and the lower level has the bunk room and 2 baths. The main entry off of the parking area is at the lower level. If you have someone who cannot manage a full set of stairs, you are welcome to drive up to the front door over the lawn. There is a pack-n-play, baby gates, and a high chair if you have a young child. In consideration of our neighbors, there is a decibel monitoring device.

Guests will have access to this entire home on 6 acres.

We're close to both Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti for all the great things they have to offer. We are also about 40 minutes from Detroit.

If there was a better word than perfect for a place to stay for a large group, I would use it. Everyone was extremely pleased with the spaciousness and amenities this home offered, from the private bedrooms and ample baths, to the comfortable indoor gathering area, well-equipped kitchen, and the peaceful and relaxing outdoor setting. We could not have been happier. If you have a large group of family or friends close to Ann Arbor, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this home!

Oasis close to everything

We celebrated a graduation and this property worked beautifully for a multi generational gathering. The host is thoughtful about function for large groups and has provided beyond what is expected in the kitchen, linens, and furnishings. In addition it is a beautiful home with lovely decor as well as a 12 seating table outside with a water feature and lovely views. We loved our stay and recommend it highly.

Amazing Weekend.

My club soccer team needed a large enough house to have all of us comfortably stay for the weekend as we had a tournament at University of Michigan. The property was stunning and the hospitality was top notch!

Just Right!

There were a few boys from our local swim team swimming at EMU for the state meet. The house was in a great location for the boys and their coaches along with a couple "house parents". The spaces were perfect for our needs.The boys slept well in their own beds, enough bathrooms for all, and we were able to make them home cooked healthy meals for their competition days. Nicole was a great resource and very responsive host.Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Great place for a local getaway!

Winter Family Vacation

This property was everything we wanted and more! We had family come in from out of town to visit us for our son’s first birthday, and there was space for everyone. There was plenty to do inside, since it was so cold outside, but we plan to book this location again to enjoy in the summer/fall. The hosts were so sweet and we can’t wait to enjoy this property again.

Our Epic stay at the Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon was very clean, warm, and welcoming. Fresh baked delicious cookies were sitting on the kitchen island awaiting our arrival. Although the pictures of the home were very nice on the Vrbo website, it was more stunning in person. There were so many oohs and aah’s from my family. There were 12 of us and it never felt crowded!The kitchen, pantry, and laundry room were fully stocked. There was even a Pillow Library with a selection of pillows!This was my first stay at a rental home as my husband and I always stay at very nice hotels. All I can say is The Blue Lagoon ( Nicole and her husband) raised the bar for our next stay at a rental home. I highly recommend the Blue Lagoon for your guy stay!

Perfect second stay for large family gathering!

Great quick stay!

We stayed for just a few nights to celebrate the opening of our new LEGO store in town with friends and family. The home was large enough for everyone, quiet and comfortable! There are special touches everywhere and even a customized welcome when we arrived! It was a great stay and an awesome host for all of us to be under one roof!

we had my family of 6, in-laws and 2 grand babies, and it was perfect with plenty of space. My mom had a little bit of trouble with stairs (had a prior stroke), but managed ok, no WC friendly. But we loved it and will stay again in the spring.

Lovely retreat setting

This was a very nice place for a work retreat for 10 people. Lovely house with lots of big windows with natural lighting. Plenty of space, huge, well equipped kitchen. There's a very nice patio out back where we were able to hold some of our meeting as it was unseasonably warm for November! There's also a grill outside and fire pit out back, and a small pond nearby.

Perfect for extended family gathering for parents 50th wedding anniversary

From the start, the property manager Nicole was very responsive and so helpful to work with especially since I was coming from another state. We had our extended family stay for a couple of nights and hosted a 50th wedding anniversary celebration for my parents there too with our extended group. Nicole made it all so easy and has an incredible supply base! Our family all had a lot of great space to move around and the grounds and backyard patio are a wonderful set up! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!!

Perfect house!!!

We had a group of 13 women come in for homecoming weekend and a bachelorette. This house was the perfect location and set up so nicely! The host, Nicole, was so responsive since booking. She event laid out the charcuterie boards I asked about and had the air mattress blown up and sheets on it. For a group of women in our 30s, this was laid out so nicely where we could still have some alone time and separation, especially with the property. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! And last but not lost, the labels on everything made finding what we were looking for incredibly easy. Would love to come back with my husband and son in the future.

Clean and updated location very close to Michigan Stadium. The house specifically was less than a 10 min drive to quite a bit of restaurants and retail. Nicole was very responsive and a great host.

AMAZING!!!!

Nicole and Matt are the best host! We had our wedding there which turned out perfectly. The house and grounds are even more beautiful than the pictures. Nicole and Matt went way above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our big day. The house is stocked with any and everything you could think of. I could go on and on about how awesome the house and Nicole and Matt are!! I would give them 10 stars if I could. The house was big enough to accommodate our wedding party and their families. The way the house is laid out we never felt on top of each other.

Wedding celebration

Excellent location for our nearby family wedding! Plenty of room for friends and family to gather with a large kitchen and master suite. Such a lovely patio with a frog pond , garden and firepiit with couches to lounge on. Very private grounds so we saw no neighbors during our stay. Nicole is the best host keeping her place stocked with anything you could need. She provided tables and seating for our friends and family brunch in the attached spacious garage. This is a very clean and comfortable home. Top quality beds linens and furniture.! Thanks so much Nicole for providing the backdrop for wonderful family memories !
