Creekside Cottage ist eine gemütliche Berghütte, die für ihre entspannende Atmosphäre bekannt ist und einen komfortablen Aufenthalt in den Bergen bietet. Das Berghaus unserer Familie liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Berglandschaft in der Nähe aller Attraktionen der Gegend, der Innenstadt von Blowing Rock und Boone. Ein aktiver Strom fließt entlang des Achterdecks, unter dem Whirlpool und rund um das Anwesen und bietet eine erholsame Erfahrung für Geist und Seele.

Bestaunen Sie die hellen Sterne, während Sie in einem Whirlpool auf dem Deck direkt vor der Hintertür entspannen oder nach einem langen Tag auf den zahlreichen Wanderwegen, die sich durch die Blue Ridge Mountains schlängeln, am Kamin kuscheln. Eine kurze Wanderung von der Hütte durch den Wald führt zum Mountain-to-Sea Trail. In der Feuerstelle um ein Lagerfeuer kuscheln und Marshmallows und S'mores braten.

Die nahe gelegenen Skiberge sind Appalachian Ski Mountain (4 Meilen), Sugar Mountain (22 Meilen) und Beech Mountain (28 Meilen). Jeder genießt Schneeschläuche in Hawks Nest (19 Meilen).

Shopping und Gourmet-Restaurants im Village of Blowing Rock sind nur fünf Autominuten entfernt. Zusätzliche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in Boone, nur zehn Minuten von Ihrer Haustür entfernt. Skigebiete und Golfplätze befinden sich nur 4,8 km vom Creekside Cottage entfernt.

Great place to get away!

We had a great stay! The house is tucked away in the trees with a creek in the back but only 5 minutes from downtown Blowing Rock. There is plenty of space and a great hot tub. Our dogs loved exploring and meeting the friendly neighbor dog. We needed a relaxing weekend getaway and this was the perfect place!

Squeaky clean and cozy cabin

After months of chemo my husband and I were finally able to escape to the mountains for a weekend. To my delight, this cabin was Super Squeaky Clean - not a speck of dust anywhere, which is a big thing when a person is immunocompromised. Add in the little creek that winds through the back yard and the huge rhododendron bushes and a comfy bed in a dark room which is perfect for sleeping in... it was paradise!!! Thank you.

Winter Weekend in Blowing Rock

This cabin is right on a little creek with an amazing back deck and hot tub. It's a great traditional two bedroom A-frame with a fantastic location just 8-10 min from downtown Blowing Rock and 15 min from Boone. We are already planning our next trip back.

Fun mountain vacation

The Ideal Cottage Oasis

Christmas getaway

Perfect for a High Country weekend!

This property is so relaxing! We had a blast sitting in the hot tub listening to the creek and sitting around the firepit! Great location, 10 min in either direction you're in downtown Boone or Blowing Rock. Comfy beds, clean and cozy! We will be back! tree!

Leaf peeping in Boone

It was a wonderful getaway, the house was situated in a private setting with a babbling brook near the back deck with hot tub. The living area was wide opened with a beautiful fireplace and a very large screen tv. We plan on going back in June , when the surrounding woods come alive with rhododendrons in bloom.

Great Cabin!

The proximity to other properties is a little close, but overall an amazing cabin. Very enjoyable. Host had everything ready and made the check-in process practically non-existent, which was great. First floor and loft are both beautiful, there is even a small stream that runs behind. That was a nice surprise. Overall five stars. Highly recommend.

Slice of Heaven

This was our second stay in this beautiful creekside cabin. The host was so friendly and welcoming. The cabin is so perfect for a couple or small family. The hot tub, fire pit, grill and the little creek flowing through the backyard are all wonderful. Not a single complaint about this lovely place. It’s the most perfect place to stay- we will be back again!!

Perfect little getaway!

I absolutely loved my stay. The property manager was communicative and so kind and the place was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the outdoor spaces as much as the indoor. It was so nice to sit back on the porch to relax, read a book, and listen to the stream. I also enjoyed the proximity to town and some of the sites I wanted to explore. Definitely will plan to be back someday!

Great Stay at a Lovely Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabin. Very cozy and spacious with nice facilities. Joe was excellent in communicating the check-in details and very quick to respond to a couple of queries we had. Overall a very good experience - highly recommended.

Great stay at a great place!

We absolutely loved our time here at the "creekside cottage"! You dont realize how close the creek is to the back porch, the sound of the water is amazing! This is a great A frame cottage in a nice private spot, and still about 10 to 15 minutes from anything you want or need to do!

Joe and Sheila live in the small mountain town of Blowing Rock, NC. We enjoy hiking, traveling and being with family/friends. Our mountain home provides a nice change of scenery and climate, as well as a place to decompress from work.

While attending Appalachian State University, we fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Our family enjoys the many hiking, rafting, skiing and sightseeing opportunities. The cabin's setting is perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing Rock, providing easy access to many of the area's attractions. Access to the Mountains to Sea Trail is a couple minute's walk away, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is within half of a mile from the front door.
