It was absolutely lovely, the hot tub was incredible and all the games and nicnacs downstairs was so fun to play with the whole family, and the little playground outside was perfect for our youngest family members. Definitely a 10/10, the only thing was that the river was way colder than we thought, but it was still fun.

Property had everything as advertised. Our family enjoyed fishing. Pool. Ping pong and using the hot tub. Property managers were very easy to work with and the house was well stocked as well as very clean on check in

Nice place. Lovely spot by the River. There was some issues with the hot tub not heating to above 90 degrees. Otherwise very pleasant stay.

Great house with plenty of activities

This house is a great location right on the river with plenty to do at the house. It’s a very quiet part of town and easily accessible to hikes, fishing, Elizabethton, and Johnson City.

Quiet home on the Watauga River

We really enjoyed our stay at Watauga River. The house has everything you need for a fun, relaxing time. There were plenty of kitchen appliances to make the stay better. It was very clean and nicely decorated.

Nice home on the river

Home has a pool table, ping pong and plenty of area for kids to have a good time. The river is a little chilly but it will cool you off! Great home!

Graduation Trip

Fantastic place for me and my family. The basement ceilings are low and might be a bit tricky for those over 6’ tall. Fortunately no of us are anywhere close to that height so it was perfect lol. The stay was fabulous. The hosts were tremendous. Definitely worth the stay!!

Family gathering

The house and amenities were fantastic! Well stocked kitchen was much appreciated. We had a large group to feed. River access was great and the property is very quiet and peaceful. Great accessibility for my Mom's wheelchair. Only issues were that the downstairs temps were always very cold compared to upstairs. Overall great experience and would recommend.

We are so happy that you got to celebrate with so many members of your family and that you made those memories at the Riverhouse. Thank you for leaving the flotation devices for our future guests. That was extremely thoughtful of you and I'm sure they will get use and be appreciated by others. We've added extra blankets to the lower floor to help with temperature comfort, and have purchased an additional outside trashcan so other guests have the room that they need. I remember that some of your guests are local, and if you get another family gathering opportunity it would be our pleasure to have you with us again! Thank you again!

Nice family stay

Good for a large family. Quick access to lots of activities. River was beautiful and loved sitting on all the porches. Beds were pretty comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. Our only complaint is that the temperature was really hard to control. The basement was freezing and the main level was hot.

Property was great. Very clean. The Christmas decorations were a very nice unexpected touch. Also appreciated that they had the NFL network. The place was perfect for our family celebration. We did not spend much time outside but the view of the river was pretty.

Short spring break trip.

The house was well equipped. We really appriciate all the instructions throughout the house. Really made it an easy stay. It offered plenty of activities for my family. The girls, 11 and 14 really enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table, and the hot tub. We all enjoyed the riverside setting. We had 5 people but it could house many more. We will definitely recommend to anyone we know visiting the area.
