As soon as you arrive, you'll be captivated by the beautiful views of Stone Lake from every room of the house and the comfy screened in porch. From the double steam shower to the new outdoor hot tub, our home offers all the modern comforts you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation.
With three spacious bedrooms, all outfitted with high-quality king beds and luxurious bedding, everyone in your group will sleep comfortably and wake up refreshed and ready to explore all that LaPorte County has to offer. Can't decide which bedroom to stay in? Don't worry, each one offers stunning sunset views over Stone Lake.
Our fully-equipped kitchen is open to the family room and has everything you need to create delicious meals and snacks to enjoy on the screened-in porch, with its cozy gas-burning kettle stove and eating area.
Outside, you'll find plenty of space to relax and unwind. A tiered patio leads down to the lake, where you can enjoy water activities like swimming, fishing, or boating. If you're feeling adventurous, grab our paddleboard or kayak and explore Stone Lake's 3-mile circumference by foot or bike.
If you're bringing a boat, let us know – we have options to help you make the most of our lakeside location.
Our lake house is your lake house. You'll have access to all areas of the property, including the fully-fenced courtyard, tiered patio, and garage for storage. We also provide bikes, a paddleboard, floating tubes, and a gas grill for your use during your stay.
As your hosts, we live only 30 minutes away in LaPorte. We take great pride in making your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. We are always on hand to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have during your visit.
Located in a quiet residential area on Stone Lake, our cottage offers easy access to all the amenities of LaPorte County. With its calm waters and no-wake policy, Stone Lake is the perfect spot for non-motorized water activities like fishing and water play.
Our home is within walking distance of the public beach, where you can enjoy swimming, fishing, or relaxing in the sun. And with a one-way street for vehicles, you can feel safe while taking in the stunning views on your walk.
Need extra sleeping space? We also have two rollaway twin beds with comfortable mattresses and thick mattress pads available for your use, most ideal for children. Additionally, for the safety and security of all our guests, we have two exterior security cameras at the front and lower access doors.

⭕Refund Policy Peak Season:
While we accommodate a generous cancellation policy in the "off-season," we consider our peak season to be the time inclusive of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. During this time, we follow a strict policy and offer a 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival.
😎 The booking guest and accepting responsiblity for the rental agreement and property must be at least 25 years of age at time of making the reservation.
✌️We kindly request all guests to sign and agree to our rental agreement and fill out a guest check-in form prior to check in. This form includes information for all guests 18+ who will be staying at the property. The form will be conveniently emailed to you upon booking. We understand that this additional step may seem cumbersome, but it is necessary to ensure the safety and security of our home, our guests and community. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
🎥Exterior surveillance cameras at the entrances serve as an extra security measure and are not intended for monitoring guests, except in cases of suspicious activity. We kindly request that they remain on and the wifi is not unplugged during your stay. In the event that cameras become non-functional, we may need to investigate the premises. In case you were wondering, there are no cameras in view of the hot tub 😊 Your cooperation is very much appreciated!
🛁Hot Tub:
Use at your own risk, no small children allowed in or near hot tub. Follow all Indiana regulations listed on sign visibly posted near spa.
No smoking, alcohol consumption or glass near hot tub.
🍷Broken glass in or near hot tub will result in $250 fee.
Please leave cover on when not in use and use lockdown clips to prevent wind from blowing cover off - it gets very windy on the lake!
🌡️Return temp to 100 degrees upon checkout and make sure cover is closed.
Use common sense.
😞Things happen… if for unforeseen reasons the hot tub is unavailable during your stay you will be refunded $50 per day of your stay (not including check out day).
✔️Noise:
The house is located in a quiet residential area. The white house next door is also a short-term rental. While you are more than welcome to make use of the outdoor spaces whenever you please, we kindly ask that you keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm. We truly appreciate your understanding and consideration in this matter.
👟Shoes:
We treat this place like our own, we prefer no shoes in upstairs level, in any bedrooms or on furniture.
🏠Decks:
The decks are outfitted with city inspection approved railing however please use caution with children. Please keep cushions on the sunporch during inclement weather.
