You won't be roughing it in this gorgeous mountaintop chalet / cabin located in 'The Woods' Resort Country Club with 36 hole Golf course, Spa, Gym, indoor/outdoor pool, Restaurant, Pickleball Courts, Tennis Courts, Hiking, Fishing, Nature and some great nighttime Star Gazing. This 5 Star cabin in the woods sleeps 14. There are 6 beds in 5 Bedrooms that sleeps 11 plus there are 3 sleeping spots on Sleeper Sofa & loft couch. There and 3 full Bathrooms in the chalet.

The Chalet has a spectacular wall of windows, a cozy wood burning floor to ceiling stone Fireplace, Outdoor Firepit, Large deck with large propane grill, Screened in Porch with comfortable chairs and propane Fire Table to hang out and enjoy the outdoors, Pool Table / Ping Pong Table, Dart Board, card table, poker chips and 2 large smart TV's. There is a Loft area which is great space to relax with a couch and lounge chairs. The Loft also has a dedicated Office Space with desk, monitor, keyboard, printer, etc. All bedrooms and common spaces have ceiling fans along with heat/AC. Full house Wi-Fi + outside WI-FI provided by 3 mesh Wi-Fi routers that are located on each level of the chalet. Full amenities includes Gourmet Coffee / Tea station, Keurig coffee maker, Tea kettle, Toaster Oven, Washer/dryer, Dishwasher, Blankets, Linens & Towels are provided.

The Toboggan Chalet is in 'The Woods' Golf Resort which has 36-hole public golf course & driving range. The golf course has a great bar & restaurant with food and full bar. Access to full Spa for nails & massage is located at 'The Woods Sports Center'. Access to the Woods Sports Center amenities can be used by purchasing a $7 pass per person per day. This gives you access to all The Woods Resort amenities. Hiking trails start adjacent to the chalet and fishing is close by.

The chalet/cabin is conveniently located 20 minutes away from Berkeley Springs & 20 minutes from Hedgesville. The Chalet is adjacent (100 yards) to the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area which contains Sleep Creek Lake.

Fantasy Draft Get-Away Perfection

My fantasy football league travels to a different location each year for our draft & this year it landed us in Hedgesville, VA. We could have not asked for a better location! Jason and Natalie have an immaculate cabin and it was perfect for all our needs. Very spacious, strong WiFi, well-stocked kitchen, clean beds and bathrooms, and the close proximity to The Woods golf course was ideal.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. We enjoyed the sports complex, pool and hiking. Spent a lot of time on the screened in porch playing games and hanging out. The cabin was very clean and roomy. Hope to come back again!

Very nice house

Our stay got messed up since the golf course was closed from the storm that went through just before our arrival. No fault of the owner just bad timing. Also the club house caught on fire and ruined our dinner plans for Saturday evening. Luck was not on our side this trip. At least the ladies got their spa treatments. Would definitely return for another shot. Maybe we’ll have better luck.

My Oh My! Can’t Wait To Go Again!

We had an incredible experience! Our group of ten adults, ranging in age from 21 to 81, found the property exceptionally accommodating and enjoyable. The three levels and layout of the rooms made it easy to gather in groups or find a quiet place for rest and relaxation. For our group, there was plenty of sleeping room for everyone. The three full bathrooms were fully provisioned. The rooms were large and versatile, useful beyond just sleeping at night. We used the propane grill every day! The screened-in porch was a favorite spot for morning reading and devotions. The ceiling and floor fans were appreciated during the hot weather. The house stayed very cool, especially the basement, which was almost cold—perfect for cooling off quickly or cozying up with a blanket. The kitchen is equipped with modern amenities and extensive supplies, including coffee pods, tea, and spices. The washer and dryer worked great. There was so much provided that we could have packed less. The full house wi-fi was strong and consistent, even for playing Xbox. We enjoyed the gym, outdoor pools, and pickle-ball courts. Be aware that the property is at the top of the resort, with significant elevation and grade. Great for exercise, but not ideal for gentle strolls on flat trails. The driveway is very steep. We managed to park eight vehicles on the property with careful planning and a backup camera was invaluable. Discuss parking with the owners if you have issues navigating steep grades.

Wonderful experience

My family stayed here to celebrate my mom’s birthday this year, and we couldn’t have picked a better place for our little family reunion. There were eight adults in our group, and the house was perfect for us—tons of space to hang outside, cook in the big kitche, and relax together at the fire pit each night. We took a great day trip to Harper’s Ferry while we were there, too. The hosts were super responsive and friendly throughout the whole process. Would absolutely recommend, and we can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful Home, Communicative Hosts

The house was wonderful and well kept. It was the perfect fit for our family and we had a wonderful long weekend getaway. There were a few glitches with the VRBO platform and we did not receive arrival instructions prior to our visit but the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Every question I asked was answered promptly and they were so nice to work with. The only thing I will say is, as is the nature of WV, the neighborhood is on a hill and the driveway has a steep decline as you pull in toward the house that’s hard to capture in pictures. It didn’t bother us, as we just made sure to set the e-brakes in park, or parked in the street.

Very Enjoyable Stay

Weekend visit with three generations (ages 19 to 83), weather wasn't very cooperative for outdoor activities, but we very much enjoyed the screened porch (and designated extra blankets for outdoor seating) and ping pong. Kitchen is well-appointed, comfortable beds in bedrooms, spacious enough for people to gather together or find a quiet spot. Clear instructions, easy check-in/check-out...lovely home.

Comfy & Gorgeous Spot!

We stayed at the chalet for our joint bachelor/ bachelorette weekend and it was perfect. The house was clean and comfy, the views were amazing and there was room for us to just hang out all weekend. The screened in porch is so nice even in the colder weather thanks to the fire pit & wall heater. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay and would absolutely book here again if we were in the area!

Family Holiday Gathering

This property was well equipped to handle our family of 8 adults and 5 children. It was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays and we enjoyed celebrating family Christmas, New Years and 2 birthdays together! The wood burning fireplace was great and very cozy. Everything we were looking for!

Located in a beautiful area of The Woods, this house had everything that we needed. Group of 8 friends getting together for a weekend to decompress and hang out together in late October. The house was set up perfectly: the living room, dining and kitchen area are open and comfortable- we watched baseball and football while enjoying the fireplace. Some of us played cards on the dining table while fully able to watch the TV and converse while having appetizers and drinks. This was the most clean house I’ve rented. We would definitely stay here again, maybe in warmer weather as the outside was just as inviting with the deck and the outside fire pit. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their wonderful home!

Our family had a wonderful long weekend in this house! The layout was perfect for our group, providing plenty of space to hang out together. The house was stocked with everything we needed, which was so convenient. We had a mostly rainy weekend but still had plenty to do around the house. We really enjoyed the screen porch to be able to be outside despite the rain. The gas fireplace on the porch was a bit tricky to light. We just couldn't get the hang of it, but it was great when we had it working. The kids had a great time swimming at the sports complex. The stocked pond was also really nice, we had a good time fishing, and everyone caught multiple fish. I'd highly recommend this home!
