Dieses kreolische Cottage aus dem Jahr 1829 liegt nur drei Häuserblocks vom French Quarter in der Pauger Street entfernt und verfügt über insgesamt vier geräumige Zimmer. Ein Merkmal der kreolischen Cottages ist, dass es KEINE GÄNGE gibt und alle Zimmer miteinander verbunden sind. Parkplätze an der Straße stehen zur Verfügung, wir können dies jedoch nicht immer garantieren.

Das erste Zimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Schlafsofa (mit frisch gebügelter Bettwäsche), das zusätzlichen Schlafplatz bietet. Die originalen 190 Jahre alten Kiefernholzböden wurden nachbearbeitet, um die Schönheit des Ortes zu unterstreichen. Es gibt 2 Lese- / Gesprächsbereiche und einen schönen Juteteppich. Die Klimaanlage / Heizung hält den Raum das ganze Jahr über gemütlich.

Das zweite Zimmer ist das große Schlafzimmer mit einem großen Kingsize-Bett (gebügelte Laken und Kissenbezüge), einem Schrank, Nachttischen, Kabel-TV, Nachttischen und dem gleichen schönen Bodenbelag. BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Bitte helfen Sie uns, unsere niedrigeren Preise beizubehalten. Auf dem Bett dürfen keine farbigen Haarsprays, frischen Farbstoffe oder Make-ups verwendet werden - es befleckt die Laken und Decken. Vielen Dank.

Der dritte Raum hat einen runden Esstisch / Stühle, einen iMAC (mit WI-FI), eine Klimaanlage und eine kleine Leseecke.

HINWEIS: KEINE GÄSTE DÜRFEN OHNE ZAHLUNG ÜBERNACHTUNG.

Die Küche hat eine hellgrüne Farbe, um Sie morgens aufzuwecken. Kleingeräte (Toaster / Backofen, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine) sowie Kaffee und Tee sind vorhanden. Der große Edelstahlkühlschrank verfügt über einen Eisbereiter. Das Spülbecken hat eingebaute Abtropfbleche und wurde auf das ursprüngliche Finish reduziert.

Der Fliesenboden und die Dusche des Badezimmers wurden erneuert. Pflegeprodukte, Handtücher und Bademäntel werden bereitgestellt. Ein Haartrockner gehört zu diesen Annehmlichkeiten.

Außerhalb der Küche befindet sich ein privater Innenhof mit üppigen tropischen Pflanzen, Tisch und Stühlen und einem großen privaten Whirlpool mit optionaler Kleidung. DIE WANNE IST NUR FÜR GÄSTEZAHLUNG - KEINE AUSNAHMEN.

The house was great and had a lot of character and charm. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts Ron and Mark were very friendly and upon checking Mark spent an hour and a half with us giving us recommendations. The location was extremely convenient to the French Quarter and Frenchman Street. They had amazing A/C, important for us Californians not used to the humidity! We would definitely stay here again!

My brother and I loved our stay here! This place is a rare gem of unique New Orleans flare and local color. (Completely *opposite* of many bland, neutral corporate cookie-cutter rentals available now.) Fun colors and impressive Mardi Gras regalia decorate the dining room and kitchen areas. Huge bed in center room is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Pull-out sofa bed in living room is also very comfortable. The iconic shotgun layout suited us just fine. There are big sliding pocket doors between the two sleeping areas. There is a full kitchen, a cute bathroom with walk-in shower, a lovely round dining table that seats 4, even a stackable washer & dryer. The outdoor space in back off the kitchen is a burst of tropical colors and plants-- with seating and a very nice hot tub. Furnishings in the home include carefully curated antiques, fine bed linens, modern lamps, and tasteful art. Location was perfect. We found free street parking right in front of the house. The owners live right next door, and Ron was a delight to work with. Highly recommend, and we hope to be back!

Wonderful home within walking distance to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street

The owners of this rental thought of everything. My husband and I love to attend the Satchmo Festival and this location made this experience so easy. We could walk to every event eith ease. The host Ron communicated with us up until we arrived. He provided a tour of the beautiful home. The home had the most comfortable bed ever! There was a relaxing jacuzzi that we took advantage of after all of the walking. This rental was so impressive we booked it again for a visit in 2026. You should check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Great Stay and Host!

My partner and I were visiting New Orleans for the first time this past week. Ron's VRBO was perfect and felt very personalized and curated in the best way possible.When we got there, Ron gave us his recommendations and areas that he recommends. Along with this, we were given a history of the house, which was honestly really interesting.Also, they legitimately have the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Amazing stay

What a Joy to stay here!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for three nights while visiting New Orleans and it truly did not disappoint!! From our first interaction with Ron upon arrival until we left with hugs and beautiful beaded necklaces, we had a fantastic stay. The unique home is so eclectically decorated, there is always something new to discover. The mattress is very soft and comfortable with extremely plush linens. Yes, I had to use the small steps to get into the bed (I’m 5’2”) but it was like sleeping on a cloud! The bathroom is small but had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved the hot tub! And the location was perfect for walking the streets of New Orleans. We walked everywhere we went except for the one day it rained. We quickly realized our 3 days in NOLA weren’t enough so we will be coming back…and we will definitely make plans to stay with Ron and Mark again!!

We enjoyed our stay in the unique and historic home. It was very comfortable. We liked the ability to cook some of our meals and sit outside.The owners, Ron and Mark, went above and beyond in their hospitality. Ron met us and provided us with information not only about the house but the history of the neighborhood. He had recommendations on where to eat and suggestions on places to visit.The location is within easy walking distance of the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. We listened to music every night on Frenchmen. There is a nice grocery store within three or four blocks and the bus line is close.There was coffee and tea provided along with a few staples like olive oil, salt and pepper.The ONLY caution we might have is that the bed is high. There are steps provided but if one has a mobility issue this might be a problem. With that being said, the bed was VERY comfortable. We had no problem getting in and out and we are in our sixties.We stayed for five nights. We highly recommend this property and can not say enough good things about it or the proprietors.

Historically grand time!

If you're into staying in a real New Orleans neighborhood, close to everything that's necessary, this place is for you! We loved the historic building and its furnishings, and the welcome from our hosts. The Hot Tub is a big plus, after a big day of walking and Second Lining, dancing and exploring New Orleans. Special thanks to Mark and Ron for the TLC, like walking me to the grocery store upon my arrival when I was VERY hungry for Gumbo and VERY tired from traveling. Great hospitality!

A lovely old home in the heart of New Orleans

The home is an old shotgun house, lovingly maintained and beautifully decorated. It’s a short walk to a large grocery store and drug store. A 15 minute walk to the French quarter and some great jazz clubs on Frenchman Street. The hot tub wonderful addition. We really enjoyed our stay.
