Bienvenido a Casa Frederick!  This grand home boasts 4 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, nestled on a private lot in the hills of Playa Ocotal.  Surrounded by nature, you'll enjoy beautiful views, an amazing amount of interior space, and an infinity-edge pool overlooking the ocean.

The home is on a large, private, lot in Playa Ocotal.  Playa Ocotal is a quiet village with a beautiful beach set in a cove, offering gentle surf and great walkability (0.5 km/ 0.3 miles from point to point).  There is plenty of shade along the beachfront and the ends of the beach have rocky reefs that offer good shore snorkeling options.  There is a small mini market and two great restaurants - Father Rooster and Maracuya at Bahia Pez Vela Resort (the latter offers day passes to their Beach Club).

A 10-minute drive to the downtown of Playas del Coco gets you into the action. You can either rent a car or have your personal vacation planner arrange for an airport shuttle. Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia, is just a 40-minute drive from the home. Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops can be found in neighboring Playas del Coco. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk.  You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Enjoy the plethora of restaurants and activities in the area, then retire to the peace and tranquility of this beautiful vacation home.
Guests have access to the entire home including a single-car garage.
Casa Frederick's main floor has a massive living and dining space with soaring ceilings, kitchen with upgraded appliances and a breakfast bar, a separate laundry room, a half bath, and the first of four bedrooms. Head upstairs to the remaining 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.  The placement of the bedrooms provides separation and privacy between the rooms so you can enjoy a restful vacation.

Casa Frederick is a great spot for those looking for peace and privacy during their Costa Rican vacation.  With no other houses around, you can enjoy being immersed in nature while only being a short drive to the area's amenities.

Guests will be most comfortable with a rental car for their stay, which we can assist with!  Golf carts are not available for this property due to the steep hills. While it is walkable to Playa Ocotal, most shops and restaurants are located in Playas del Coco. We do not recommend this home without a rental car or private driver.
