We got a small single room/studio style cabin this last weekend. We booked through Vrbo which was more of a pain than not, so next time, we'll book directly. Either way, after being in contact with them directly, all issues were completely resolved. Communication was clear and prompt. It was the perfect size for my husband and I to get away from the city (DFW) and unwind for a long weekend. Close to any amenities you might want/need. Quiet, and while a bit closer to other cabins than I'd personally like, it still felt private and contained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, all the essentials were included (some coffee too). All the extra touches were awesome - hot tub ready, BBQ grill setup, firewood available, comfy bed and pillows! So relaxing, a perfect getaway, we hope to come back soon!

Relaxing central spot for fun!

We really enjoyed our stay at Moonlit Cabins-Downtime. It was perfect for us. Great communication, very clean, all the amenities, close to everything & wildlife in the yard. It is across the street from something commercial which is a bit noisy but really didn’t bother us. Would definitely stay again.

Quaint cabin in the woods

Close to Hotchatown restaurants and attentions but the trees surrounding the cabin give you some seclusion from the neighbors on both sides. Nice for a couples weekend.

Cabin cute and cozy. It was smaller than it appeared in pictures. My husband and I have spider bites all over us that are blistering. Blinds on door ti cabin were damaged when we arrived. Blinds and window seals were dirty. Cabin was very peaceful and had deer in early evening. Only two rolls of toilet paper for a 7 day stay.

Perfect little cabin in the woods!

We enjoyed our stay at Down Time. It cooled down just enough in the evenings to enjoy the fire pit, where we saw several deer passing through. The location is close to the Hochatown Saloon and the new Beavers Bend Safari Park. Check out instructions were clear and reasonable. We would definitely stay again!

Just what we needed

We wanted a simple romantic getaway where we could just relax and enjoy time with each other. That’s exactly what we got. The property was clean and secluded, but still only a few minutes away from town and Beaver Bend National Park. We would recommend this to anyone!!

Awesome stay!!

The cabin was perfect for a couples getaway!! It was set back from the main road and the area was gorgeous. The property manager did a little extra request for me at no extra cost!! It was incredible!! Will definitely be back! The only complaint i have(and it is minor) is there was only a campsite style grill. Other than that, the stay was the best ever!! There were deer all around every morning and evening as well.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Moomlit Cabin. we enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We could have used an ironingboard/iron. We could not lock the door when we wanted to leave the cabins. Instructions given did not work. Trying to contact some to talk to was a little difficult. We finally contacted someone and immediately someone came and replaced the lock on the cabin. No other complaints or concerns. Our stay was a pleasant one. We recommend these services.

Downtime was a great time

Downtime is a great little cabin for two and a dog! It was a very nice and cozy, efficiency style, cute and clean little cabin. Loved the hot tub and outside bistro lights. Generally speaking, it’s in a great location just a few minutes from all of the Hochatown shops and restaurants. However, there’s a potential sound disturbance/issue due to the operational commercial shop directly across the street. Thankfully there didn’t seem to be too much activity going on there except for the first morning of our stay. The cabins on either side are also pretty close in proximity, especially the one on the left, which takes away from the privacy aspect. Fortunately, it was vacant while we were there. While the TV is a nice smart TV, it does not have cable or local channels, so you need to have your own Amazon Prime and/or Netflix account(s) in order to use it. We greatly appreciated that ample firewood was provided, although we were unable to get it to catch fire/burn. Could have been user error and/or it might have been a little wet and/or green. We would suggest bringing a little of your own firewood and/or starter logs. Be sure and bring your own bathroom and kitchen essentials besides towels, plates/bowls and silverware, pots/pans, and cooking utensils. And be sure and save time to hand wash everything used for meals throughout your stay and especially before you checkout! There is not a dishwasher in this cabin. Otherwise, and in general we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
