Welcome to Hannah’s Haven, our family beach house located adjacent to the woods at the edge of the Mill District. Our three-story, 3 bedroom, 2 full/2 half bath home sleeps 8 and features a primary king suite, queen bedroom, full-over-full bunk room, media room with surround sound, gourmet kitchen and private balcony. Hannah’s Haven is one of only a few properties opening directly onto the Gnome Trail, which leads you through the woods to the beach in under 10 minutes.
Enter on the lower street level and park your car in the attached garage or driveway. Sit down on the bench to remove your shoes and hang your coats and towels on the nearby dragonfly hooks meandering along the wall. Head back outside to enjoy the 6-person hot tub or check out the media room featuring 55” Smart TV with enhanced cable, and surround sound. There’s plenty of room for the whole family to relax and put their feet up on the large sectional sofa or ottoman. Cozy blankets are stored inside the ottoman for those chilly evenings. Bring your favorite movies to enjoy or use the Smart TV to log into your online account. A half bath and a laundry area with a full size washer and dryer complete this level.
Upstairs is the main floor with hardwood floors, a wide open floor plan and room for everyone to relax, cook and eat. The living room features two plush sofas for lounging as well as 2 swivel chairs from which you can check out the view of the Gnome Trail, enjoy the gas fireplace, watch the 40” Smart TV with enhanced cable, use the DVD/Blu-Ray player to watch a movie or play a game from the library cabinet or XBOX 360.
Step out the front door to the large porch, take a seat and gaze into the woods as you keep an eye out for gnomes, watch the kids play on the Old Stump or head down the Gnome Trail for the quick walk to the beach. When you return from the beach, use the hot and cold taps at the back door to rinse off the sand before you head into the house or enjoy the hot tub.
Then head inside to the fully equipped kitchen featuring quartz countertops, natural cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances with a 5-burner gas stove, and all the utensils and cookware you need to cook, bake or create your favorite foods (don’t forget to bring your spices!). Use the large island to prep and serve or pull up one of three barstools to visit with the cook. Enjoy your meal at the nearby dining table with seating for eight on the 5 chairs or large bench (perfect for the kids!).
There’s a sunny balcony off the kitchen where you can sit down at the table and chairs and enjoy the views of the conservation area or get something cooking on the large gas BBQ.
On your way to the third floor, you’ll find the second powder room opening onto the wide staircase. Upstairs you’ll find three bedrooms including a spacious primary suite with a king bed, dresser, nightstands with built-in outlets to easily charge your electronics and views of the Gnome Trail. A large attached bath with a dual sink vanity, tub/shower and a large closet completes the master suite. The second, turquoise, bedroom features a queen bed and beautiful views across the conservation area. The third bedroom has a full-over-full bunk bed and is perfect for kids or the young at heart. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with pedestal sink and tub/shower.
