I didn’t realize there was a second building attached to the building we were staying in, so it was a surprise to find a person was staying on the second floor. The property was sound proof and it was like we had a house to ourselves!! It didn’t matter another person was staying there. It was a really nice value for the area.

Thank you Ben for your review! I'm glad to hear that, despite the initial surprise, you still felt like you had the house to yourselves and enjoyed your stay. I know it can catch guests off guard if they don't realize the home is a two-unit property. I do mention a couple of times in the listing that this is a two-unit home, with another guest space on the property, so future guests know what to expect before booking. I'm happy to hear the soundproofing worked well and that the presence of other guests didn't impact your experience. Thank you as well for mentioning the value of the property for the area. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I appreciate you choosing to stay here. I'd love to welcome you back again in the future!

Our 3 day stay at the Lakehouse was perfect for our needs. Very clean, attention to detail with the decor, checkin and checkout easy. Immediate response from owner. Appliances all worked and Lisa even put wood in the firepit for us. A little too cold but we did sit at the gas pit to watch sunset. It was beautiful. Will come again.

Thank you Michele so much for your kind review! I’m so happy to hear the Lakehouse was perfect for your stay. I always try to make everything clean, comfortable, and easy so guests can just relax and enjoy their time. I’m glad you were able to catch the sunset—even if it was a little chilly! Sunset Park and the views of Lake Erie really are something special. Next time hopefully the weather cooperates a little more so you can enjoy the firepit too. I’d love to host you again anytime. Thanks for staying at the Lakehouse! 🌅

Nice place right on the water with a very kind hostess!

I’ll be looking to book here again next year. This place was clean, easy to access, and the backyard is great. The host was very communicative and accommodating. She gave us restaurant recommendations, as did the guests book in the kitchen.

Charming house and well appointed. There were other guests upstairs, which could be heard from time to time, but nothing too disruptive. The view is simply beautiful and was enjoyed from the yard as well as from indoors. Would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you!

Beautiful sunsets. Great location on the water to watch the stars and listen to the lake crash upon the store. Close enough to downtown Willoughby but just far enough away to escape everyday life. Soooooo relaxing! We sat outside every evening, enjoying the sunset followed by a fire in the fire pit or propane fueled table fire. There is a king-sized bed, which is rare in a ST rental but key to our happiness. We had a couple of questions, which Lisa answered promptly. We will return!

The house was everything and more. From the comfort of the beds to the view, we could not have been happier. My kidsplayed in the yard while we watched the sunset on Lake Erie. This place is spotless, inviting, and just a perfect home away from home. The neighborhood is beautiful, and you are just a short drive from any and everything you could possi ly want to do. Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I love the location! It is 10 minutes away from Downtown Willoughby, which offers several restaurant and shopping options. There are so many restaurant options within a 5 minute drive and only a 15-20 minute drive to Downtown Cleveland. The sunsets each night are amazing!! I love that this 2 unit home is right on Lake Erie.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

The 2 unit home is located on Lake Erie with gorgeous views of the sunset each night. Book one unit or book both with friends and family.
