Welcome to Pine Cove! A beautiful, newly renovated house directly on Lake Algonquin. Delight in all the Adirondacks has to offer from the tranquil and scenic town of Wells.

You’ll enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views, fireplace, game room, fully equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 2 full baths, Weber Genesis barbecue just outside the kitchen, stone firepit overlooking lake.

In the summer enjoy kayaking (three kayaks and one canoe available to guests), fishing and swimming in the lake. Hiking and waterfalls nearby.

Winter time cozy up by the indoor fireplace. If you’re looking for adventure enjoy ice fishing, snow mobiling (rentals nearby), snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snow tubing and skiing at Oak Mountain (15 minutes away) or Gore Mountain (30 minutes away). (Back deck/bbq may not be accessible during winter months dependent on snow fall.)

Enjoy hiking year round including nearby waterfalls. Spend a day at the Saratoga horse races open from June-October (1 hour away).

In the fall enjoy the breathtaking foliage of the Adirondacks.

Pine Cove was exactly as described online. The house was clean and well equipped. Having kayaks and a canoe available added to the fun during the day. At night we enjoyed time around the campfire. It was just right for our family get-together.

Pine Cove was the perfect place to relax! Our family of 6 (5 adults and an 8 year old) loved our week away. We were able to kayak and swim in the lake. We took a day trip to Lake Placid (1hr 40min away), and went on a couple of nearby hikes. The beds were comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the PacMan arcade console, too. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything we needed to use the grill was readily available. The wifi worked well. Check-in was seemless. We brought our own games and puzzles, but there were games available, too. The neighborhood was quiet. I highly recommend Pine Cove for a relaxing family getaway.

Classic ADK weekend

The house worked out perfectly for us, with plenty of space indoors when it was raining during the first part of our long weekend. Awesome view of the lake even when foggy and cloudy. Easy access to great hikes which we did both days, followed by kayaking in Lake Algonquin, and even a little swimming! Everything inside and outside the house was as described, and the host was very responsive. We enjoyed our visit!

My family and I enjoyed a relaxing stay at this lovely lake home! The home is beautiful, very welcoming and fit our family perfectly! Our family really enjoyed our stay at Pine Cove! Loved the modern, rustic design inside. Plenty of room for our large family- especially appreciated the large dining table. It was perfect for meals and nightly board games. The kitchen had everything we needed and the large grill came in handy throughout the week. Dock was able to accommodate our fishing kayaks, SUP and jet ski that we brought with us. Host was extremely responsive too! Wish we would've booked two weeks!

This is the best rental property I’ve ever been to. The location was right on the water in our own private little corner, the house was newly renovated and beautiful and it was the perfect layout for a group with the open floor plan. Family weekend

We had a lovely time on our weekend. The weather didn't cooperate as much as we had hoped but we still had fun. The house is beautiful and the view of the lake is gorgeous. The kids enjoyed the game room so much. We were able to take the canoe out for a spin and had a nice walk around the neighborhood. We visited Gore Mountain for their fall weekend, only about 30 minute drive. We had a cozy movie night with the fireplace on for our last night. Highly recommend!!
