This single family home is in a high end neighborhood, walking distance to UT. There are very few short term rental houses this close to Hyde Park Village because it is highly coveted for homeownership, so rentals are rare.
Make sure you confirm the location of the properties you are searching for! Many advertise they are in "hyde park", but it is likely an adjacent neighborhood, etc, and should not be confused with Hyde Park Village. Hyde Park Village is where the restaurants/bars/shopping are located, and this house is 2 blocks away from the action!
BEDROOMS:
Lots of natural light to enjoy in the master bedroom with a large bright ensuite bath, walk in closet and balcony.
Second/middle bedroom has a QUEEN mattress and small corner desk.
Third/front bedroom holds a KING mattress.
Additionally, there is twin pull out sofa (sleeps 1), and a separate pull out ottoman bed in the living room (sleeps 1 more).
The home is best suited for 6 people, but can fit up to 8 guests total if 2 are willing to sleep in the living room sofabed/ottoman bed.
Sheets, towels, and blankets/comforters will be provided for up to the 6 guests for the 3 main bedrooms, and linens for the twin beds are in the hall closet.
SUPPLIES:
The unit is self catered. A starter supply of household cleaning and hygiene products will be available for use, usually sufficient enough for a 1 week stay. Guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies, and all food and beverages.
In the bathroom, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a blow drier, and hair flat iron (along with towels, hand soap, and TP). The front load washer and dryer is available to you to do laundry, although obtaining laundry soap outside of the starter amount is guest's responsibility.
The property does not have cable tv. However, there is ample wi-fi bandwidth so you can log into your netflix, Hulu, YoutubeTV, etc via the smart tvs. Tv's are located in each bedroom and in the living room.
Note that we are NOT a scent free location, as we use a combination of laundry detergent, fabric softener, bleach, lysol, plug in air fresheners, etc, and we also regularly accept dogs. Our location is not well equipped for those with allergies.
OUTDOORS:
Outdoor lights are either motion sensor or on a set timer for nighttime light. Because artificial turf is made out of plastic, no fire or heat can be on the turf (so no fire pit, candles, tiki torches, etc). A BBQ grill is available on the side of the home away from the turf, and although we endeavor to have a filled propane tank for you, we do not guarantee propane availability etc.
Guests are welcome to park in the driveway (2 car parking max). Additional street parking is available on a first come, first serve basis, but is not guaranteed.

Please NO PARTIES or guests that are not delcared on the reservation as this is a residential neighborhood. We live in the property next door, so we are easily accessible, if needed.
The house is your private rental, so we do not intend on entering the premises unless cleaning/repairs are needed.
We may come onto the driveway to pull out/put back the trash/recycle cans on the city designated trash days. We would only be outside for a moment to do this.

Dogs are allowed with an additional $150 per dog pet fee. You must leash pets when walking them in the neighborhood, and pick up any waste during walks/ in the backyard. Owners subject to reimbursing for any repair costs associated with pet damage to the house.
