Enjoy Paradise at Our Mauna Lani Villa

Our townhome is located in the exclusive Mauna Lani Resort that is anchored by the Mauna Lani Auberge and Fairmont Orchid hotels. Being our guest gives you parking and lounge chair access at the Mauna Lani Beach Club which is a short 2 mile drive away. The walk to the beach is less than a mile. Along the South Kohala coast you will find the best beaches on the Big Island and some of the best in Hawaii and the world. There is plenty of room for six guests with three bedrooms, two with king beds and another with twin beds. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Our lanai has a large table for six guests and a conversation set for two more. The lanai has a Viking grill for barbequing your favorite island meals. The swimming pool at the resort is only 100 yards away down a concrete path. Although easy to reach it is far enough away so you won't be bothered by any noise from the pool.

Paradise Indeed!

We celebrated a 60th birthday while there. The property was well stocked, spacious and perfectly located near the beach & shopping. We loved the beach club for swimming & snorkeling. The club staff were excellent and the bar staff attentive & fun. We would recommend this unit and location to friends.

Very nice and well appointed property. My dealings with the owner were extremely pleasant and beneficial. We may wish to repeat our stay at another time. The facility certainly exceeded our anticipations.

Great location but needs a refresh

We had 4 adults and 2 small children and plenty of space. Condo is fully stocked and in a great, central location between two 5 star hotels. Very walkable, grocery store only 1/2 mile away. The interior definitely needs a refresh, especially the bathrooms and linens.

Great family place!

This is an excellent place for multiple generations to stay. Our family had a wonderful time being together. The kids found games to amuse themselves with and the adults found great spaces for themselves. Two floors meant the generations could separate and find a bit of private space too. The beach club was a bit far away but still very accessible with a car and perfect for families wanting a safe beach experience even when the surf was realtively high. The pool was great for all of us too.

Our place is great for families but also for couples since our floorplan has the master bedroom on the ground floor. The Beach Club is a main highlight during a stay at Mauna Lani. Mahalo for the great review!

Everything was fantastic

Beautiful place; great location; and awesome amenities (like the beach club access). We had a great time and would rent again...over and over. Communication from Joe was easy and he responded quickly with any inquiries.

Fantastic Property and Wonderful Vacation

This was an amazing property in the Mauna Lani area of Kona. The property manager was incredibly accommodating for all of our needs, and the property itself was immaculate and in a great location close to the beach and surrounded by great places to eat. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. We would come back hear in a heartbeat!

Wonderful stay...wish we could have stayed longer!!

Absolutely lovely place!! Plenty of space, kid-friendly, quiet. I can tell that the owner put a lot of thought into making this home comfortable. Well-organized, well-designed and I appreciated the clear communications and the notebook that was available about what to see and do as well as how to operate any amenities in and near the place. The community pool was close by and we enjoyed the access to the Beach Club. Nothing was lacking. The house was well-stocked with paper products, kitchenware, and entertainment for all ages. I would love to come back! We had a fantastic time here! Mahalo!!

Fairway Fun

The Fairway condo 1702 was delightful. It was great having three bedrooms so each kid could have their own bedroom upstairs, while us parents could have a quieter bedroom downstairs. Kitchen was well supplied, and I utilized the grill on the lanai for barbecuing the famous Parker Ranch ribeyes. TV in the living room was great and had access to all the streaming channels.

Great gifts at The Fairways

As a family, we decided to treat ourselves with Christmas Day flights to the Big Island. We've been coming to the island for more than three decades and know it well. After years spent in South Kona/Keauhou, we've migrated to the Mauna Lani area - staying in several different homes/condos in the area in the past four years. This unit at The Fairways was one of the best kitted out homes we've stayed in. The owners are extremely generous with guest conveniences - especially the beach gear found in garage. CBIV representatives were very responsive and great to work with. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to book again. The gifts of the Big Island never disappoint. Mahalo!

Beautiful condo

We loved the condo and the included beach club lagoon. When we arrived the main gate entry code did not work. When we got in the condo, the garage door remote didn’t work. There were lots of instructions in the house many of which contradicted each other. A code was given for the garage, but there was no key pad anywhere for the garage. I was very sick the morning we left, and ended up not cleaning up as we should. The property manager was very kind.

We know from our own experience that the garage isn’t designed for a three-row SUV like a Ford Excursion but will comfortably hold two-row SUVs or minivans. Even with this limitation there is plenty of outdoor parking just steps away from our unit. It is otherwise nice to have the parking in the garage with direct access into the kitchen for unloading groceries. Mahalo for the review!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Expensive AND LIMITED FOOD OPERTUNITIES. Weather was great. Accommodations were acceptable and expensive; however, the management group was discussing and unavailable. In general, the vacation was mediocre and expensive!
