Thank you for sharing your thoughts about spending a week in our beach house. So glad that it was such a positive experience overall and that your three generation family group enjoyed the different spaces we have in and around our place. My daughter and I are beekeepers so it’s personally rewarding to read that you appreciated the “sweet treat” I left for you: raw honey from our Virginia apiary.. Best, ASH

Reading your heartfelt reflections about it was like for your family to stay in our our home in the North End of Virginia Beach is a total delight! We know, from personal experience, that three generations gathering together at the beach are when forever memories are formed so we're tickled pink that you felt the love that we have for this home, you found it to be such a great fit for your family and that everyone enjoyed the variety of different spots for kicking back and relaxing that we've created both inside and outside of our home. Thank you so very much for taking the time to share these lovely comments about your experience. All the very best, ASH

We're so glad that your whole family found vacationing in our home to be an enjoyable experience especially since we know that this family beach trip was planned, at least in part, to celebrate a birthday milestone for your mother. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your family's positive impression of the residence and for highlighting just how close we are to the beautiful (uncrowded) beach at the North End. You were such considerate guests! We hope will be able to come and stay with us again. Best, ~AH

I enjoyed meeting you on check-in day and chatting with you about our beach house. We’re so glad that you enjoyed your stay and thank you so much for taking the time to write about your positive experience. It's so great that you took advantage of the books, puzzles and board games that we keep at the house because we have found it's those "old fashioned pastimes” that really help facilitate what we believe are the very best things about a beach vacation: unplugging, relaxing and reconnecting with family and friends. You were wonderful guests and, should your vacation plans bring you back to Virginia Beach, we would love to have you stay with us again. Best~AH

I know, especially after the separations of this spring, how very much you were looking forward to reuniting with your family and making first time beach memories with your toddler granddaughter. We are so happy that the location and the way the house is set up, both inside and out, contributed to your overall great experience. The title of your review, "Family Fun", is what we think a a beach vacation is all about and we appreciate your positive review. We enjoyed having you as our guests and we would love to have you return to stay with us again. Best, ~AH

We are so pleased that you were able to return to our home for another beach vacation and it's great to know that the information I sent to you was helpful. We just renovated the kitchen this spring so it's truly rewarding to receive a positive reaction to the upgrades from someone who has stayed with us before. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and we hope that you will be in touch if your vacation plans bring you back to Virginia Beach. The screen porch, the breeze and the dune await! ~AH

Thank you for taking the time to share your feelings about staying in our family beach house. From our conversations, I knew that making three generation beach memories (those are just the best!) has been a "wish list" item for you and your wife for quite awhile so I'm thrilled to know our home fulfilled your expectations so perfectly. Also, I'm really glad that you took advantage of our close proximity to the gem that is First Landing State Park. When you told me your family liked to kayak I knew that FLSP would be just the place for you: calm waters for kayaking while observing herons standing "knee deep" looking for a meal and spanish moss hanging from trees that hold osprey nests (and nestlings)...a visual feast and big fun for everyone so, Yay! You were wonderful guests and we hope you will return to our beach house in the future to add more good times at the North End to your family memory book. Best,~AH
