Thanks for the feedback, Kristin. I'm not clear on the nature of the issue that "could have been an easy fix." In reviewing your communication history, I see you sent us a message concerning plastic being placed over the sliding door/windows and asking if that could be removed (which would have been an easy fix) or you move to a different unit. Unfortunately, we weren't and aren't permitted to remove that plastic from the glass. It was put over the glass to protect it AND to keep dust from entering units through the weep holes and removing it not only creates a pathway for damage and dust, but also induces a liability on the construction company and/or the entity making the call to remove the plastic. Likewise, moving to a different unit (your other request) wasn't an option and even if available, wouldn't have been a fair resolution to the unit owner, who's unit you had booked since 3/10/23 (with full knowledge of the ongoing construction) thereby robbing them of the opportunity to rent it to anyone else. I certainly understand your frustration with the situation and share in it. Unfortunately, there simply weren't any available remedies for your concern.

Hey sorry that you apparently misplaced your casting Legacy Vacations as dishonest , dishonest. we called you around 11:15am on checkout day about a necklace charm that our team recovered from the unit. Sounds fairly dishonest, eh? Upon receiving your calls several hours after our initial call to you, we dispatched a member of our management team to check the unit and interview the housekeeper. Neither effort was successful in locating your necklace. Again, really sorry that you misplaced your that you decided to write a dishonest "revenge" review, in what can only be interpreted as an attempt to harm our reputation. As we do with every sub-par review, we conducted a review of our systems in an effort to understand any issues that may have happened during your stay. That review revealed that we sent you your door code around 1130am (4.5 hours ahead of the 4pm check in time) and that there were no calls or messages from you during your stay (usually indicating that everything went great). Given that you noted that you had issues with the cleanliness, location, property condition, would have been helpful if you had communicated those "concerns" sometime during the 7 nights you were here. We would have loved the opportunity to correct any deficiencies. We can't help but wonder what this review score would have been if you hadn't misplaced your necklace and blamed us. Unfortunately, we'll never know.
