Gelegen neben dem Whiteface Club Resort, umgeben von exquisiten See- und Bergblick. Keine Notwendigkeit, ins Auto zu steigen, da Sie zu Golf, Tennis, dem Yachthafen, X-Country-Skifahren, Wanderwege, kilometerlange Wanderungen in der Wildnis gehen können.
Sie können zu Fuß zu zwei unglaubliche Restaurants am Ufer des Lake Placid, beide mit Blick auf den See und die Berge: (1) Lake Placid Lodge, ein 5-Sterne-Relais und Chateau Resort bietet Maggie's Pub und das Artisan Restaurant;
(2) Moose Lodge Boathouse ist auch leicht zu Fuß erreichbar, am Yachthafen. Setzen Sie sich auf den Balkon oder die Terrasse an beiden Orten und beobachten Sie die Sonne hinter dem Whiteface Mountain und das Mondlicht, das auf dem See plätschert. Unglaubliche Aussicht! Ein voller Supermarkt und Geschäfte sind 1 Meile von der Wohnung, die diese Lage, am Ende der Whiteface Inn Road, sowohl sehr praktisch als auch sehr ländlich, im schönen Adirondack Park.

Lake Placid Haven

We really enjoyed our stay here. The abode is nicely appointed with interesting and attractive decorating. It is very comfortable. The location is minutes from downtown Lake Placid (with Mirror Lake adjacent). It is also located in a beautiful resort with nice walks and trail access.

Just what I needed

Upon arrival and entering the the apartment / condo I was very surprised as the pictures do not do it justice. Very comfortable, big bedroom and nice neighborhood. The information left in the apartment was well explained and detailed. But the best is that is was just what I needed.

Perfect Lake Placid hideaway

This was the perfect home away from home for our stay near Lake Placid. The cabin was well appointed and everything was so clearly labelled. Super easy check-in and out process. Lovely home, cozy furnishings.

Weekend getaway!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a wedding weekend at the whiteface resort. It was perfect! Walking distance to the venue and short drives to everything in town. Beautiful condo with a balcony. Would definitely recommend for a fun weekend getaway.

Great alternative to a traditional hotel room

Well appointed condo unit within the Whiteface Club. Only considerations are there is no A/C and it is a second floor unit accessed via a narrow staircase. If these considerations are not a concern, the unit will meet all of your longer term rental requirements.

Great place to stay in Lake Placid

The condo was cozy, very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. My wife was quite pleased with everything as was I. We will return and would recommend it to our family and friends. Nothing negative to say about it. Communication with the owner was great.

Wonderful!

We had a nice stay at this condo in Lake Placid. It was clean, comfortable and warmly decorated with subtle mountain touches. The location was ideal for accessing all of Lake Placid’s winter activities - the Jack Rabbit trail is just across the street. And best of all, there was lots of snow!

Great week!

Having owned rental locations at Whiteface Club, I still feel by far it is one of the best quiet, but close to everything, locations in Lake Placi. Margaret's condo was perfect for the 2 of us, clean, neat and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and relaxing with a book as well as attending the World University Winter Olympic Games.

Loved It

We really enjoyed the apartment. It's in a good location not too far from the village (and in fact, we walked to the olympic center and back, stopping along the way for free wine or whisky tasting, and mini golf) and it's extremely comfortable and contains all the amenities you will ever need. The fireplace is REALLY nice. We would not hesitate to return.

Lake Placid Beautiful!!

Margaret’s home was one of the nicest places we have stayed at through VRBO. It was so cute and relaxing. We loved the decor! It was so clean, you could eat of the floor! The king sized bed was very comfortable. We hope to be able to come back another time. In convenient area close to Lake Placid Center and Ski Jump area. Thank you again!!

Lovely summer escape

We have stayed at Margaret's condo several times in the past, but only in fall or winter. We have loved it every time - cozy, charming, wonderful location so close to everything but also secluded. We're so glad we have now enjoyed a summer visit. The setting is just lovely in summer - green, beautiful flowers, friendly neighbors yet private. We spent lots of time on the upstairs deck nestled in the trees, like being in a tree house! Thank you Margaret!

The floorplan is spacious and nicely decorated/furnished. Nice deck. Bath has been renovated and the kitchen partially renovated, wish the frig had an icemaker. Glad we had cool temps because I missed the fact that the condo lacks air conditioning. Nearby trails and can walk to the Lake and nearby golf.

Perfectly comfortable

We often rent a place for our vacations, so we have experienced quite a few different places, both in country and out. We have never felt so instantly comfortable and relaxed in a vacation rental. On top of this, hiking was literally right outside the door. Whiteface Lodge is about a mile away and the golf course is within walking distance. Lake Placid itself is a delight. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Margaret!

Great!!!!

We spent a week at this great condo, and I cant say enough positive. The place was spotless, with every comfort of home! Great location, with great biking and hiking, and many great restaurants in very close proximity. We had great weather, which certainly helped, and enjoyed a bunch of good restaurants on the lake(placid and Mirror) for lunch, cocktails and dinner. The Moosehead Lodge for drinks and dinner was walking distance and very reasonable. Lake Placid Lodge was pricey, for dinner, but worth it, great service and food, but even just for cocktails on the lawn and to see the inside(Maggies pub) was worth it! The Cottage on Mirror lake was a great lunch spot, and Dancing Bears roof top deck was good for the view and a late lunch(Veggie pizza was amazing)!...A little dissapointed with the Boathouse restaurant, and Generations restaurant, but the view was good at the boathouse, and people watching was good at Generations! Did a lot of biking..the people at Planet Cycle had some great maps of the area and Saranac Lake and Ironman route, so we had a lot of fun riding! Rented paddleboards from EMS and had a great time, ...$25/4 hrs...dont rent from the place at the end of the street in the back..$25 for 1 hr!! Also ate at Tail of the Pup...Good BBQ on Rt 86 heading toward Saranac..great people watching and good food too! All in all, a great week, and I would highly recommend this condo, price is a lot more reasonable than a hotel, plus it was nice to be able to cook breakfast there. Owners left dishwasher deterg, laundry deterg, which was an added plus!! Was GREAT!
