Spring in the North Georgia mountains always brings our annual pollen season - just part of nature's cycle in these beautiful forests. We regularly service all amenities including the private hot tub as part of our standard maintenance schedule. As we mentioned when you contacted us about the creek crossing (which is clearly noted in our listing description), we were happy to offer you one of our alternative properties with traditional access that was a significant upgrade, though you declined this option. The authentic creek crossing is actually a feature many of our adventure-seeking couples choose us for! We truly wish you and the Mrs. many more decades of love!

Our detailed pre-arrival information is sent up to a month in advance, and our Welcome Guide is automatically delivered through VRBO's Message Center 72 hours before check-in. While we regret any perception of rudeness, it's worth noting that direct communication was hampered as VRBO Support had to make nine separate attempts to reach you on check-in day due to unresponsiveness to our series of pre-arrival messages, calls, and texts. This unusual escalation to VRBO Support is not typical for our hundreds of successful check-ins, as evidenced by our consistent 5-star communication ratings. For future guests planning their mountain getaway: Our detailed arrival instructions, including creek crossing guidance and vehicle recommendations, are readily accessible through multiple channels well before booking and prior to your stay. While our cabin offers reliable internet service, mountain destinations can occasionally experience varying connectivity, which is why we recommend downloading all check-in materials in advance. Regarding the hot tub, our listing clearly states that for the summer season, we have converted our oversized hot tub into a cocktail pool. Due to the dangerously extreme temperatures this season, this change provides a refreshing place to lounge and enjoy a cool drink, rather than a heated hot tub. In terms of the televisions, our listing shows and specifies that the property include two televisions. The Roku television in the living room offers a variety of movies and shows. The television on the second floor using Google Chromecast to stream content from your personal devices to the TV. There is even an HDMI for MacBook users as Chromecast and Apple Devices sometimes have compatibility challenges. We regret that there was an expectation of four televisions when our listing clearly indicates two. Additionally, we you had reviewed the check in instructions or information in the Guest Guide on how to operate the televisions, or even reached out to us to address any technical challenges with either of them. Our Guest Services team is always available to assist, with any need—just as they did to provide your family with complimentary early check in—and would have happily helped you streaming content or other entertainment from either SmartTV. The shower head in the master bedroom is positioned at a standard height. We understand that preferences for shower head height can vary, but it is installed at the typical height. As you know, it’s quite difficult to meet an unexpressed expectation, and while we regret that your expectations were not met, it appears there was a misunderstanding regarding what was included in the listing. We strive to provide clear and accurate information about our property to ensure our guests have a great experience.
