Der Wohnbereich bietet Komfort und Entspannung und die bequemen Matratzen in jedem Schlafzimmer, versprechen schnellen Transport zum Traumland mit dicken Kissen und warme Bettdecken. Der große Raum ist komplett mit neuen (2010) Live-edge Zähler in der Küche und eine gut ausgestattete Küche.

Good location

This place was good for needing a place for a few nights. Its location to Mount Rainier was perfect and Packwood is a great little town. I didn’t use the hot tub but could see people enjoying it. I liked that the cabin sat back off the main road. I accidentally blew a breaker by using the air conditioning and microwave at the same time.

The cabin was very comfortable, clean, close to town, and had everything needed to cook.The Morton's are wonderful hosts. They were very kind, helpful, and pleasant. Would highly recommend them.We will definitely book with them again!

Perfect for our Mount Rainier Adventure

A friend and I come to Mount Rainier each year to hike together, this is year 8 of the 20 years we committed to doing it. We were super happy to find this comfy little cabin that met all our needs. It was hot while we were there, so the air conditioning unit they had in the living room was very much appreciated. We especially loved being able to enjoy a soak in the hot tub while sipping coffee or tea in the mornings. I'd highly recommend this place to stay as a launching spot to enjoy the national park.

Great place near Rainier

This cabin was the perfect place to visit Mt Rainier NP and other locations. It was very comfortable and we even saw the only large mammal wildlife (elk) on the property.

Felt Like Home

Spent 10 days at this property. Great location, very comfortable accommodations. This is close enough to Packwood for convenience, but far enough away you are away from the world. The place had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here next time I am in the area.

nice property

This was a great property to stay in. Easy to find, quiet area and fully fitted to supply you with everything you needed to relax and get ready for exploring Mount Rainier. Hot tub was a welcome addition after long hot walks There was a choice of 2 beds but did find both quite soft and not totally comfortable but the wife was fine with both. Owners were kind enough to let us check in early as wanted a change of clothes. Packwood itself has a large supermarket and choices to eat and you can always use the property kitchen to prepare your own meals which we did a couple of times. With Stephen Canyon road closed it did make the journey to Mount Rainier longer and although a straightforward route it does take awhile because of the many twists and turns. Overall pleased with my choice of area and property.

It is just as advertised. Nice cabin with all the amenities we liked. We were there during the Packman flea market holiday weekend. Although we are not flea market people, it looked like it is very popular!

Married in 1975, 4 married children. Fred has a passion for family, reading, learning & sports. Marilly has a passion for family, birds, writing, photography & dancing. Traveled to: Mexico, Italy, Germany, Nicaragua, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Vancouver Island, Victoria B.C., Belize, Aruba & many states in the US, including Hawaii & Alaska. Hosted exchange students for years (2 German, 2 Japanese, 2 Koreans, and 1 Colombian). Fred retired from teaching after 20 yrs & was a Realtor for 7. We owned Subway stores for 20 yrs in Portland, OR & currently retired in Packwood, WA where we manage 3 vacation rentals on adjacent properties. We love hosting family & friends . . . and keep on dancing!

We love the mountains, and Packwood is very like Switzerland, only the mountains are smaller and farther apart. It is in the center of Gifford Pinchot Nat'l Forest, 10 miles from the southeast entrance to Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park, and surround by Tatoosh, William O Douglass, and Goat Rocks Wilderness areas. There is a constant flow of wildlife including: elk, coyotes, raccoon, fox, bald eagles, beaver and more with year round recreational activities.

We spent every weekend for almost a year in Hall Creek Cabin while we built the Rainier View Lodge. We really made it our home away from home. I enjoyed the hot tub under a star studded sky, the song of Hall Creek, wood smoke on the wind and the plethora of passing elk . . . what a combination! It's a great place to dream and build!
