The house was perfect for us. Everything was in good order. And the views and location are great! I also appreciated the communication with Tahoe Getaways. When I had a problem opening the hot tub lock, they came over to fix it for us right away. Nice house!

Great Group House

Stunning property with different spaces to gather, esp for our group of friends with two little ones. The view from the two patios and the entire main floor is incredible, and the location was wonderful and tucked away but with easy access to Everline.

Fantastic Location with Beautiful Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip. The house is good for two families with plenty of space. It has gorgeous views of Squaw Valley. Biggest complaint was the TV situation; the master suites did not even have TVs and the rest of the TVs were quite small. Other than that, the staff was wonderful to deal with and the house had a good layout. It would have been a nice addition to have access to the Resort at Squaw Creek.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We're so happy your enjoyed your stay! This home is definitely a place to unplug and enjoy the beauty of the mountains, but we are happy to recommend homes outfitted with many TVs if that is your preference.

Sierra Crest

The house was very nice, lots of room for my family of 10. We were all comfortable in our bedrooms and had our own bathroom. It was during the summer and it was a very hot weekend, the house has no air conditioning so it was super hot in the house. We were able to open the windows at night and that helped a little bit. Also the refrigerator does not work and we had to change the temperature a few times to keep things cold. We lost a lot of food as it did not keep it cold the first day and a half. Otherwise, beautiful views, clean house and super close to the venue we were attending a wedding at.

There was a loose shower head, some lightbulbs were out, the bathmats were dirty, some utensils (tongs) were broken, and there was no light in the refrigerator. The paper towels were cheap and we had to buy pepper. These may seem small, but they leave a bad impression considering the location and beauty of the house.

Sierra Crest is the Best!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at the Sierra Crest cabin. Looked just like the pictures. We had plenty of cookware to make almost every meal at the house. It was beautiful. Only thing we would change is updating at least one of the televisions. It was difficult to watch the Super Bowl with such poor quality picture. However, if it hadn't been the Super Bowl, we probably would not have watched tv very much. Would definitely stay there again! Great location!

Sierra Crest Stay- Feb 2016

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sierra Crest was a beautiful and spacious home for our family group. Everyone had their own bathroom. The beds were comfortable. There are two sitting areas so plenty of space to spreadout. The location was so convenient to both Squaw and Alpine. Also they have a Valet parking sticker for Squaw Resort and guest passes if you want to use the heated outdoor pool or fitness club. The only negatives are that the two TVs in home were small and not HD. Not a problem for me, but my boys were a bit disappointed. The kitchen could stand to have more kitchen towels and pot holders for the renters to use. Also the dryer is not very hot so it takes a long time to get anything bulky dry.
