Worth it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The photos in description are extremely accurate. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable. We cooked a lot and we had everything that we needed in the kitchen. This was the perfect staycation for us!

Great Location

Very convenient to grocery store and restaurants, within walking distance! Nice neighborhood with private park. Home is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need, including paper goods and spices. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. It was too cold to use the pool but enjoyed eating outside and sitting on the nice lawn furniture. Would definitely stay again!

Best Girl's trip

What a lovely property!! There were 8 ladies in our girls trip and this house was perfect. The host is so responsive and kind. We had inquired about pool floats and she delivered some new ones and a pump to the house the day we got in!! Great location and the house is just adorable. We will defiantly be back!

Beautiful Stay In Tucson!

What a wonderful stay we had in Tucson! The house was perfect for our family. They definitely put a lot of thought and effort into making our stay feel like home. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. The house was close to restaurants, grocery stores, attractions, and shopping. Liz was so great to work with and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay! The outdoor area and swimming pool was beautiful. The desert mural made the outdoor area very inviting. Great getaway spot!

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends! The home is decor was very cute and inviting! We had everything we need and even stuff we weren’t expecting such as a Keurig with pods. Check in was super easy and we had very little check out tasks which was really nice. The hosts did check in and were super accommodating to a request we had. We stayed here for a weekend getaway for wine tasting to Sonoita and it was less than an hour away from some great wineries. Pretty close to the interstate 10 and minutes for grocery stores and shopping.

Excellent Hosts and Home

We gathered from across the country to spend Thanksgiving together with family in Vail. The home was perfect for us - we all had our own very comfortable bedrooms, we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, and one courageous person took a dip in the pool! The kitchen was well-stocked and met our needs. The dining room was perfect for gathering for small group meals and there are several living area spaces, including on the patio. The owners, Liz & Alan, were extremely accommodating, both before and during the trip. It was a wonderful holiday and we couldn't have been more comfortable in this home. Plus, it was only 15 minutes from the family home where we all gathered for Thanksgiving.

Wonderful Stay

We rented this property due to it’s proximity to Vail where we have family. It is very hard to find great rentals in this area. We hit the jackpot. The home is very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and has a lovely pool and backyard area. It is also very close to a grocery store and has some restaurant choices close-by. You can tell that the hosts care about making sure their renters enjoy their stay. We would highly recommend renting this property. Thank you to the hosts for a lovely stay.

Retired Friends

We are a group of five female friends, ages 70 to 80, who all worked together as administrators at Imperial Valley College in Imperial, CA. We now live in Arizona, California, and Florida and enjoy getting together every few months. This home, both inside and outside, was perfect for our gathering in Tucson. The pool had a handrail for easier access, and the murals on the block wall fence glorious. Hosts, Liz and Alan, were perfect. Thank you for a relaxed, happy gathering in beautiful, comfortable surroundings.

Great house and backyard pool!

Our stay was awesome! Close to hiking trails and restaurants, grocery store. The home is remodeled and online pictures are accurate. Beautiful. I had already planned sleeping on one of the comfy couches as the bedrooms were all taken from others in my party. Pleasant surprise the trundle daybed in office was awesome. Believe it or not super comfy trundle style bed and this room is in front of house which supplied semi private room!! So I’d call it 4 bedroom. Kitchen supplied nicely with all you need and bathrooms were nice with big rain shower heads. The primary bedroom opens to pool and has cool modern remote fireplace. Good walking neighborhood too. I highly recommend!!!

No hot water for 18 hours.

Location was 45 mins from good restaurants if that’s important to you. House is kinda away from it all. Pool didn’t have a heater. Access code didn’t work, initially. No hot water for 18 hours. I felt coached on how I was supposed to rate the stay which I found not professional. Place is well decorated. Easily sleep 8 or more. We had check out instructions to deal with towels, dishes and trash. And paid 200$ cleaning fee and forced damage insurance.

Dear Guest, We are sorry that you did not have an enjoyable stay. We take our responsibility as a host very seriously and do our very best to ensure that everything in the home is in working order. It is worth noting that another guest stayed in the home the day before Darla’s check-in date and made no mention of a hot water issue so we were not aware of the issue. Darla checked in around 6pm that evening and let us know within the first hour that the hot water was not running. We immediately offered to send out a plumber to remedy the issue that very evening. However, the guest indicated that they would prefer the plumber to come the next morning instead as they were tired from travelling all day. We understood and respected their preference. As soon as the guest gave us the ok for us to send the plumber the next morning around 8am, the plumber arrived and resolved the issue within 3-hours. While we encourage guests to leave us their honest feedback to help us improve the stay for future guests, we do not coach or require any guest to leave a review. We encourage all future guests to see our other 5-star reviews for a more accurate representation of our listing.

Our stay in Rita Ranch was the perfect spot for this trip. Our accommodations were just as seen in photos and even more delightful upon arrival. Our hosts could not have thought through any more special details, including small extras, to make our stay feel like "home". The kitchen was well stocked and beyond what I needed for vacation. The house was close to many parks, national and state, to keep us busy for 5 weeks. The highway up to the airport, downtown Tucson, Phoenix and Scottsdale was very helpful as we used it frequently. Simple town with simple restaurants and easy shopping just down the street with fast food options. Communication with the host was 5-star and almost always replied within the day...if not hour! The pool was beautiful as was the setting in the backyard, but due to cooler temps only went in up to my knees which was fine! Toward the end of our stay...we were tempted to see if we could extend for 2 more weeks! I highly recommend this house for short or extended stays. Enjoy!
