This home is located within walking distance to amazing restaurants & local shops as well as a few minutes' drive to multiple beaches! If cooking is your forte, you can pick up fresh seafood & meats locally and prepare a delicious meal using the kitchen built for a chef or outside on the grill. Indoor dining room provides seating for over 8 people in addition to outdoor seating and dining for those cookouts and seafood feasts!

With total relaxation in mind, this home has been decorated and equipped to ensure all the cozy comforts of your “home away from home.” All new beds with the most comfortable mattresses, quality linens, and towels provided. Furry Family Members:
We keep the treat jar stocked for our furry guests in the entry area on the cabinet! You will not be able to miss it! There are food & water bowls provided as well. Ran out of waste bags? No worries! We have you covered and have plenty of waste bags to use! Simply toss the used waste bag in the outdoor garbage container. If you go out and about to explore and unable to bring your furry family member, we have a large dog crate provided in the laundry room area. There is a $50 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs, owner permission required prior to stay.

Things to Do:
Beaches! Beaches! Beaches!!!! Mathews has some of the most peaceful and beautiful beaches to enjoy and explore! You will find perhaps like us that each beach has it’s own “personality” and makes for a unique and memorable experience!
Haven Beach - Nice sandy beach; great for swimming, fishing, walking your dog and/or having a picnic! This beach provides ample parking and even has porta potties for when nature calls!
Bethel Beach – Quiet beach; great for a relaxing walk!
Aaron’s Beach – Secluded beach with great views of both sunrises and sunsets. It is a great beach for bird watching and nature lovers! Limited parking.
New Point Comfort Lighthouse – This is a “must see” place to visit anytime of the year that is simply very serene and provides amazing sunsets! Be sure to learn more about the New Point Comfort Lighthouse while you are there!

Blueways Water Trail – Bring your own Kayak or Stand Up Paddle Board and launch at one of the 15 water access points across the county or rent boards from local providers, such as Mobjack Kayaking or Bay Country Kayaking. One is in the town of Mathews at Put in Creek Park!
Do you enjoy wine? How about scrumptious food and dessert? Zoll Winery is less than a 15 minute drive from the home and a for sure stop during your visit!
Compass Entertainment Center – This is a great amusement indoor/outdoor facility that truly has something for everyone! From a cinema, to an arcade, to bumper cars, to a climbing wall, to putt putt, to a restaurant and much more, there is unlimited fun for all! This gem in the corner of Virginia is less than a 30 mile drive from the home!
