MAALAEA KAI COMPLEX:
Maalaea Kai stands ocean front, with designated parking lining the front of the complex with ample space and shaded by palm trees. Grounds are well kept with all sorts of greenery; palms, pink and red ginger flowers, red and green ti leaf plants, plumaria and vibrant shrubs adding to the Hawaiian feel. The complex is outfitted with three elevators; one front and center to the complex, the other two on either end of the complex for your use. Stairwells are located next to each elevator. Trash is located on the west end of the complex, with each floor having a trash shoot next to the westward elevator. A common seating area in the middle of the complex leads out to a sprawling green lawn that runs right up to the ocean where you can watch for feeding turtles, the occasional surfer, and whales depending on the season (the whales visit our island between the months of December- mid-April). Grounds include a spacious, gated pool and community grill area for Maalaea Kai guests and residents to use and enjoy. At night, this complex is lit with tropical tiki torches to take you back to the old Hawaiian days.

The Maalaea Kai resort is located just 0.4 mi (8 min walk) from the public beach access point. Public beach access is to the longest beach on Maui- approx. 6 miles of sugary sand to explore, swim, snorkel, boogie board and even surf at times. In a brief 5 min walk (0.3 mi) via Hauoli St, you can enjoy the Maalaea harbor, the Maalaea Harbor shops, Maui’s Ocean Center Aquarium and the Maui Golf and Sports Park.
