Our home offers 1532 square feet of space for making memories in the Smoky Mountains. This 3-bed, 3-bath home boasts an open floor plan, spanning 3 separate levels. There are plenty of amenities to make your trip unforgettable: a 65” TV for movie night, 2 full-length decks with a hot tub and western view of the sunset, pool table, arcade system, & fireplace with electric logs.

You'll fall in love with the peaceful setting. Our cabin is about 12 minutes from the Parkway, but still nestled away to provide privacy. Distances are 4.2 miles/12 minutes to Pigeon Forge and 10 miles/25 minutes to Gatlinburg.

Our home offers our guests a clean, calming, and inviting atmosphere to take in all that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Bedroom 1: Located on the top level, features a KING size bed with an ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: Located on the main level, features a KING size bed with an ensuite bathroom (which can also be accessed from the hallway).
Bedroom 3: Located on the bottom level, features a KING size bed with an attached bathroom.
Sleeper Sofa: Located on the bottom level in the game room.

KITCHEN/LIVING ROOM
As you enter, the open concept kitchen gives way to a living and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need. Meanwhile, your family can relax in the living room with vaulted ceilings and large windows to view the surrounding mountains. Fireplace is electric (there is a county-wide fire ban for all inside and outside fires for large portions of the year).

ENTERTAINMENT:
The game room on the lower level has the pool table, arcade system, kids play area, and 65" Roku TV preloaded with all your viewing apps (BYO passwords).

The main level has a 55" Roku TV preloaded with all viewing apps (BYO passwords).

All bedrooms are equipped with smart TV's. Note that live TV is only available on the Roku TV's in the living room and game room.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Outside, 2 full-length balconies provide plenty of space to lounge in peace. There is a hot tub for soaking. Decks also have plenty of seating and a table and chairs for 6. The cabin faces due west- one of our favorite things to do is sit out there on quiet mornings with a cup of coffee or watch the sunset on relaxing evenings.

DRIVING:
The Log Cabin at Moonlit Mountain is 13 miles from Smoky Mountain National Park- the most visited national park in the country. As a bonus, it’s close to all the action in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. You are only 5 miles from the Island and 7 miles from Dollywood. Paved roads the entire way, but winding mountain roads are necessary, and the driveway is STEEP.

First time visitors to Tennessee are often unprepared for how spread out the mountains are. Be fully prepared for lots of car time, especially when you visit the National Park.

If you are planning a trip to the mountains during the winter, weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of God are always possible. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance.
