Das charmante Creek Front Haus verfügt über eine überdachte Terrasse, die die gesamte Breite des Hauses erstreckt und mit Blick auf unseren laut Bach. Eine überdachte Veranda auf der Vorderseite betrachtet die Berge. (Insgesamt 640 'der überdachten Decks). Start ist auf einer Ebene mit dem ersten Schritt in das Haus, die es behindertengerecht mit Grenzen 30 'Innentüren macht. Alle Innentüren sind aus Massivholz und leisten zusätzliche Schallschutz. Von den 3 Schlafzimmern, 2 sind Meister mit Qualität Queen-Betten Größe und das 3. Schlafzimmer hat 2 neue Einzelbetten und ein Schlafsofa. Außerdem haben aufblasbare Matratze. Groß für Familientreffen und Kinderzimmer liegt versteckt an der Vorderseite des Hauses versteckt. Das Master-Schlafzimmer, großes Zimmer und Küche mit Blick auf den Bach. Rushing Creek Retreat

We spent several days over Thanksgiving at this property. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The layout of the house was great. The kitchen opened to the family room and had was fully stocked. The family room had a comfy sectional sofa, and a cozy gas fireplace that was so easy to operate.Loved that there were no steps, the house was all on one level. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that the bedding, pillows, sheets and towels may be in need of replacing, I was also hoping for a little better view of the mountains from the front of the house, but the rushing creek in the back was beautiful. We would definitely consider renting this property again.

As advertised. Wonderful property

Located just far enough away from town to be away from it all, but close enough that it is not a major time commitment to go get the Saturday morning breakfast from Crafted Donuts, this spacious cabin provided my family a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and has pretty much everything you need to feel "at home." I liked that tissues, tp and paper towels were provided. I have rented some cabins that were bare. The front yard is sizeable enough for an active family wiffle ball or something, and the back yard is western NC perfection, with the porch overlooking the just loud enough creek. Like most creeks in the mountains, it is not meant for canon balls and tubing, but for frolicking and getting your feet wet. In a perfect world, I would prefer a king bed in the master (plenty of room for it) and scentless sheets/towels. Also, the Wi-Fi is not great so working from the cabin may is difficult. It could be time to upgrade to Starlink.

The house was very nice but the outside furniture and table were not usable they were so dirty. The grills were so bad it took my son a hour to get one clean enough to use. Also picture of River online is very deceiving. It is a small creek and not big enough to tube in.

Peaceful and Perfect!

Everything about this property was just perfect. My husband enjoyed fly fishing in the creek at the back of the house and ended up catching trout. The home is very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. We can’t wait to visit this property again!

Family time

We love time in the mountains and our stay here was lovely. The cabin was open and airy and the babbling river in the back yard was heaven. The cabin was well appointed with things you would need for a comfortable stay. We did have a hard time with getting anything with the tv and components to work when we tried to watch a movie in the evenings though. My tech savvy son figured out some of it but the dvd player didn’t have all the necessary cords to work.

Fall Getaway

This cabin is suburb! We stayed for a week and the fall leaves were amazing. The house was a joy to stay in, we didn’t want to leave. The host is excellent! Don’t pass this one up!

Perfect relaxing weekend.

My wife and I needed some personal time to relax from raising 2 grandchildren. We haven't had alone time for 6 years now so this needed to be a stress free weekend. Rushing creek retreat did not disappoint. Even the rain on the tin roof was soothing. We tried to catch some fish from the creek but had no luck. We didn't bring any waders so it was difficult getting to the honey hole where the were hiding. We will definitely come back to try again.

Awesome! Had a wonderful time staying here. Home was exceptionally clean.

Nice place to relax and unwind. Walmart and grocery store approx 25 minutes from cabin. Home was well equipped and had just about everything needed. Downtown Murphy was a quaint town to visit. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful cabin

Our family of four and two dogs stayed at this cabin. The cabin was spacious and beautiful. We caught trout in the creek and relaxed by the fire pit. Murphy is centrally located to all the great things this area has to offer. I would highly recommend this cabin for a perfect mountain getaway.

Perfectly Peaceful

For this trip we planned on staying in instead of going from activity to activity. Rushing Creek was the perfect place for that. The sound of the creek was so peaceful and our kids loved playing in the water. We did go out for a couple of activities and meals but used the grill at the cabin almost every night. This is a great place for a family getaway. *My only suggestions would be to put extra child safety precautions on the exterior doors and get new cookware.

Great place to stay and very quiet

First, our hosts were so accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. The cabin was well laid out and clean. The master bath is huge! The fireplace was wonderful! The online pics do not do the whole house justice. I loved the back porch and was the perfect place to hang out when it rained. Some kind of expandable pet gate might be nice across the large step area (@6’ across)…not just for pets that you may have but because of the visiting neighborhood “black dog” and extremely huge St. Bernard that come to visit occasionally. We had to keep our lab in when they were around because they are a bit bossy. (This is no fault of the owners at all, just be aware that they may come around). The creek is wonderful and does have some trout in it for those like us that trout fish. It’s very quiet and has a paved drive which is nice. The only thing I would say is do not bring a trailer or boat. There is nowhere on the road to turn around. The neighbors across the street are extremely nice and allowed my dad to use their drive to turn his boat around. We have very large trucks and our F250 extended cab is as wide as the driveway so even it was a challenge to get in and out without borrowing the neighbors drive a bit. We stayed out of the grass to park but some gravel parking on the sides of the driveway or a turn around would be the only thing I’d change about this home. Everything else was amazing and we will definitely stay here again.

We have retired to the mountains of North Carolina and, Trust Us, we only live in beautiful places. We live in this area and think we have found Paradise in our charming town of Murphy. We came to visit and vacation here and just had to stay. Our home is pet friendly for we have two golden retrievers (THE GOLDEN GIRLS) that are the loves of our lifes. I am sure if you travel with your pets, they are also your children. Our 5 grandchildren think this is the best place in the world and we agree. It is so centrally located and after 12 years we are still exploring and finding new adventures. My husband's advocation is photography and he has enjoyed photographing all the wonders of nature in the area. Some of his photos are in the home. He won lst place in the GA Mountain Fair several years ago and won 2nd place last year. The fair is in July and is an adventure not to be missed if you are here. Fun for the entire family in Hiawassee GA.

We came to visit here in 1997 and we fell in love. The next visit we found ourselves buying property and building a house here. What we love the most is the ever changing nature around us. We are always mesmerized by the sound of water and when we found this wonderful new home on a rushing creek we decided to buy it to share our piece of paradise in Murphy with others to enjoy. My husband said that the mountains are in my Scottish/Irish DNA and I would have to agree. As the saying goes 'You are nearer to GOD in the mountains than any other place on earth.'

The small town feeling where everybody waves and the deep history in this area is fascinating. The area where this home is located is where the last battle of the Civil War was fought on May 6th, 1865. This was an Indian Reservation and the Trail of Tears history can be found at our local museum. The folklore is long and interesting. All you have to do is ask and listen. A free performance every Friday night in the open air pavilion at John C Campbell folk school should not be missed. About a mile from the property is a monument to a Forge that was located here in 1839.
