Dieses historische Haus am Wasser aus dem 19. Jahrhundert befindet sich im Herzen von Rockport direkt am ruhigen alten Hafen von Rockport. Sichtbalken und Parkettböden mit unglaublichem Panoramablick auf Sandy Bay und The Old Harbour. Das Wohnzimmer, das Esszimmer und die Terrasse sind alle zum Wasser ausgerichtet. Sie sind so nah wie möglich am Meer. Dieses historische Anwesen war um die Jahrhundertwende das alte Zollhaus. Schiffe hielten an der Anlegestelle in der Bucht an, um hier den Zoll zu erledigen. Originalbalken und -böden werden liebevoll gepflegt.
Genießen Sie spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge und Meeresbrisen von unserem Haus im 2. Stock. Ein Queen-Schlafzimmer, Vollbad, gut ausgestattete Küche vervollständigen diese idyllische Landschaft. Die dörflichen Galerien, Geschäfte und Restaurants im Herzen von Rockports Kulturviertel erreichen Sie bequem zu Fuß. Genießen Sie Ihren Kaffee auf unserem Hafendeck mit Bistrotisch, beobachten Sie das Panorama des Kommens und Gehens am Meer, die malerischen Gebäude am Bearskin Neck und Motiv Nr. 1 sowie die Bootsaktivitäten des Alten Hafens. Sie können Ihr Kajak von unserem Grundstück aus starten. Auf Meereshöhe erwartet Sie eine weitere private kleine Terrasse zum Essen und Sitzen mit Stufen zum Wasser und zum privaten Sandstrand. Hören Sie auf der anderen Seite der Bucht die Musik der Konzerte am Sonntagabend oder gehen Sie ein Stück zu Fuß, um Konzerte am Back Beach zu veranstalten. Wir sind nur eine Minute zu Fuß von Rockports atemberaubendem neuen Shalin Liu Performance Center und The Rockport Art Assn entfernt.
Der Pendlerzug nach Boston ist 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Der hintere und vordere Strand sind nur zwei Minuten entfernt und Granitstufen führen vom Grundstück zum alten Hafen. Boston und Logan Airport sind 40 Meilen. Ein Taxiservice ist verfügbar.

Amazing Stay

My group had an amazing time staying at Peggy’s place in Rockport. The location is ideal and felt extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely book again, and I’m so happy I found this gem of a spot.

Perfect spot in Rockport - we loved our stay! The host was friendly and responsive, and the location couldn’t be better. It's in walking distance to shops and restaurants, and right above a great coffee shop. The place was perfect for two, with a beautiful harbor view and the sound of waves as the tide came in. We’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful little getaway! Sits above a cafe in the village. The smell of fresh baked goods woke me. I thought I was a kid and my mom was in the kitchen. Convenient to all the little shops and restaurants. We loved being there and will return. Thank you!

Yes we are in the heart of Rockports historical quaint village with shops ,galleries and restaurants all walking distance. The Shalin Liu Ctr is a few minutes walk. I also love the smell of coffee brewing or ghiradelli brownies baking at The Bean. Guests love our waterfront perch and we welcome your return.

Beautiful view, quiet apartment in the heart of Bear Skin Neck, which is a charming part of Rockport. Loved the coffee place just downstairs, cute shops all around. But the view, the view is amazing.

Great spot in a little beachside village! Property is a nice little spot. Parking is a bit difficult to find depending on the day/time you arrive. Hosts very nice!

Great view and location

We came to Rockport for a long weekend. The place was very comfortable with an amazing view of the harbor and a perfect location. Note that it is over a cafe as mentioned in other reviews (early 6am wake-up) which didn’t bother us much. We enjoyed the close access to the cafe for breakfast and snacks.

Gorgeous spot!

This is an absolutely beautiful, charming, and spacious apartment in an outstanding location - right in Bearskin Neck with views of the harbor. Light sleepers will want earplugs for when the cafe comes to life early in the morning, but everything else was terrific!

Great get away to Rockport

We had a great few days and were able to explore many walks right from the property and the beach was just a third of a mile away. The town was just getting going for the summer and more restaurants open by the weekend. This was a great introduction to Rockport and we had a fun sail on a schooner down in Gloucester as well

Extremely comfortable, cute, and nice place, with magical views of harbor and even picaboo view of motif#1. Wrap around windows with amazing breeze. Nice cozy deck. Coffee shop below was a twice a day visit. Hosts were so polite and responsive. We look forward to coming back someday

Perfect location!

What a perfect place to stay for our 25th anniversary! Peggy’s place was right in the cute town of Rockport. The view was beautiful, the cottage was adorable, and the location couldn’t have been better. I didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back!

Simply Wonderful

An extremely quaint, comfortable, clean place with a wonderful view. Right in the center of such a wonderful little town. Although the parking situation is rough, a neighbor was kind enough to explain about leaving the car at the T station and I used Gloucester Taxi to get around. It worked out great! It was an extremely pleasant stay with a great host!

Exceptional location and view

We loved everything about our stay at the Waterfront apt. With views of the water on three sides and the most spectacular sunsets, we couldn't have asked for a better location. The apartment is cozy and tasteful, and is located near all the shops and many restaurants, for easy strolling and dining.
