You will find an exquisite top of the mountain view that is almost beyond compare. We may be biased, but we think we have some of the best views in the States of Georgia, extending into North Carolina. This home has 2 breath-taking views, one off the back porch looking at Unicoi Gap with Tray Mountain, Rocky Mountain and Spaniard Mountain off the Appalachian Trail. The front porch views reach all the way to the mountains of Standing Indian, Hightower Bald and Big Scaly. Get a true feel of the beauty of nature like you have never felt before.

Perfect fall experience

Overall, the house was great. The location is perfect for exploring all of North Central Georgia. We loved the views from the front and back porch. The fire pit was great. would definitely recommend to a friend and would stay here again.

The View!

The views are fantastic! The house was nice, comfy furnishings and well-supplied. The property managers were a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and very helpful. We hope to be back some day! Thank you, Judi & Jack!

Almost Heaven on Top of the Mountain

Beautiful views on perfect viewing porches! Modern home with room to spare. Well worth the trip up the mountain. Four wheel drive preferred for the very top climb on gravel. Saw deer and turkey along the way. Great location convenient to hiking and boating. Hiawasee is a sweet, welcoming town with great 4th of July fairgrounds entertainment.

Amazing!!

The home is absolutely beautiful and the views are unbelievable. The hosts are very kind and responsive although we had no issues. The house was very well stocked with many extras. Our week was perfect and relaxing! I highly recommend “Almost Heaven”, 10/10.

Great View

This is a nice 3 BR 2 1/2 Bath home with great mountain views from the front porch, rear deck and all windows. Close to Hiawassee and only a short drive from a main road. Ample parking for several vehicles if needed. Well equipped with kitchen utensils and 2 refrigerators. Nice washer and dryer. Keypad entry and responsive host. We would definitely stay here again.

Almost Heaven, Indeed!

We certainly enjoyed our stay at this property. The views are incredible. When we were there we planted ourselves in the chairs on the deck. For us the weather was perfect. It is just amazing that each sunrise/sunset was so different. The surrounding area is also very lovely. We were driving a rented mini van; chrysler pacifica, and climbed the driveway just fine. You do have to maneuver around some ruts and put the vehicle in low when you reach the gravel part. I certainly hope to return some day.
