Important Note About Driving and Weather:

Please note that the road and driveway leading to the house are steep, which is typical for homes in this area. While the road is paved, it's not state-maintained and could become difficult to navigate in severe winter weather (ice or snow). If winter storms are expected, locals often park near the state-maintained road (a steep quarter mile away) and walk to their homes. A four-wheel drive vehicle with snow tires or chains is recommended for winter access. Rock salt is available for the parking area and steps.
